Chapter 29

Layla's POV:

As I pulled into my drive way, I looked at my phone to see Brooke has texted me.

Brooke: Hey....feels like we havent talked in a while..How have you been?

I looked at her text and frowned. She was right, I havent talked to her or Jade in a while.

Layla: Hey! I know i have been just so busy. Hey you want to come over? I have news.

I click my phone off and turn the car off. I then sigh heavely. I have been busy..with Shawn. I needed to make time for my friends and boyfriend. Plus I will be spending three months with Shawn! Tonight i will just have to cancell that Facetime call.

"Hey mom! I have some more great news!" I say running into the kitchen.

"What else! You are becoming a singer! What more is there?" She asks laughing.

"Im going on tour with Shawn!" I say happily.

My mom just looks at me sad like. Not the reaction I was looking for.

"Honey..we never went over this! Tour? A manager! Leaving us.." She half whispers the last part.

"Mom...I know this is a lot! Trust me im very overwhelmed! But I am so lucky to be able to do this!" I say hugging her.

"I know! And im so proud of you! Its just...im gonna miss you." She says a tear rolling down her cheek.

"I know mom..im gonna miss you too." I say holding my tears in.

"Just one more thing.. Where are you going and for how long?" She asks wiping her tears.

"Erh... We are going a lot of places. Are first stop is New York and we leave...tomorrow for 3 months....." I say with a sad smile.

My mom stares at me then hugs me again. I was really gonna miss her. And yeah my brothers too.

"Im really proud sweetie! And I promise I will call you everyday of the tour! And when one of the concerts are close we will go!" She says smiling now.

"Great! Im really happy to hear. Anyway I better get packing." I say.

"Oh yeah right." My mom says letting go of me.

I smile as I go to my room and get ready to pack for 3 MONTHS!

(Ding)

My phone started to ring as Shawn was calling me. I quickly pushed the ignore button and texted him an explantion.

Layla: Hey Shawn, can we cancell that call? Im really sorry but i have to spend this last night with Brooke and Jade. See you tomorrow!

I send it quickly and click my phone off. I then quickly text Brooke to take Jade with her. They should be over soon.

"Layla! We are here!" I hear Brooke and Jade yell from the living room.

I put my clothes down and and run to the living room.

"Brooke! Jade!" I yell as I tackle them with a hug.

"Woah! Hey Layla." Brooke says with a chuckle.

"I guess you missed us?" Jade says smiling.

"SOOOOOOOO much you won't believe it." I say and we all laugh.

"Come on guys lets go to my room. There is import news to be shared." I say leading them to my room.

As we are walking to my room. Im playing what im gonna say to them. "Hey guys im leaving for three months with Shawn and yeah..bye!" Ugh how do I tell them?

"Why is there a suitcase on your bed?" Brooke asks.

"And why do you have all your makeup,hair supplies,shoes and everything packed up!" Jade asks raising her voice.

"Okay so that news i was talking about.." I say slowly.

"Get on with it Layla! They both yell at the same time.

"Okay! Erh im going on tour for three months with Shawn!" I say really fast.

They looked at me stunned. Then they scream happily and attack me. They both hug me really tight.

"Layla thats great!" Brooke says happily.

"Im so happy for you Layla!" Jade says patting my head.

"Really! Thanks I thought you guys would be mad." I say smiling.

"Why?" Jade asks.

"Cuz we ahvent hung out in awhile and now im just leaving." I say.

"Aww Layla! We are just happy you are living your dream!" Brooke says.

"Thanks guys! Now after you guys help me pack we are gonna drive over to the guys aparment and say goodbye." I say smiling.

"Eww! We have to help you pack!" Jade says.

"Yes." I say throwing clothes at them laughing.

"Okay lets go to the guys aparment. But let me invite Shawn." I say as we are walking out the door.

They nod as I pull out my phone and call Shawn. After about three rings he picks up.

"Hey babe whats's up?" he asks.

"Hey! We are heading to the guys aparment to say goodbye. And I was just inviting you if you havent already said goodbye." I say.

"Sure! I just got done packing so I will be there." He says.

"Okay see you there."

"Okay bye."

"Bye."

I hang up the phone as we start to head over to the guys aparment.
