Chapter 12
Cameron's POV:
I walk down the hall and into the waiting room, everyone stood up and ran to me.
"Is he okay?!" Jade asks still crying.
"I don't know, they are going into surgery right now." I say looking down.
Jade nods and takes a seat crying, while Brook goes over to her calming her. I look and see Layla looking at me. She smiles and walks over to me and gives me a hug. I hug her back, I have missed her so much.
"Don't worry Nash will be fine." She says.
"How do you know?" I ask.
She looks at me with a small smile.
"Because I do..trust me." She says and I smile a little.
I do trust Layla, and I start to feel a little better. I grab Layla's hand and lead her to the waiting room couch and we both sit down. Layla smiles and lays her head on my shoulder.
Aren't your parents worried about you? It's like 9:00 pm." I ask.
"Nope. I told them and they said it was fine. I'm probably going to stay at Brooks house tonight." She says.
"Awww, you should stay with me." I say with a pouty face and Layla smiles.
"Maybe." Layla says and I smile.
Layla's POV:
I just sit there with Cameron with my head on his shoulder and think "I don't think I ever liked Shawn" I think I just liked him or thought I liked him because I was just so depressed and just needed someone. I look down at my necklace and frown. I don't deserve this, Shawn needs to give this to a girl that he loves and a girl that loves him back, and that's not me, I love Cameron.
"I'll be right back." I say to Cam.
"Okay." He says and I get up and walk over to Shawn.
"Hi." I say nervously.
"Hi." He says with no emotion.
"Look I know you hate me but-" I start but Shawn interrupts me.
"Look Layla I don't hate you, but why did you leave me.. For Cameron?! He broke your heart!" He says.
"Shawn..he had to break up with me..it's a long story. Madison threatened him if he didn't she would kill me cat..and well she did." I say.
"Oh." He says.
I look at him and take off the necklace and give it to him.
"Here. I don't deserve this. You need to give this to a girl that you love and to a girl that loves you back. I love you Shawn..just not in that way." I say handing it to him.
"Thank you Layla, but I still want you to have it." He says handing it back to me.
"Why?" I ask looking at the necklace that is now back in my hand.
"Because..you have an amazing voice and you deserve this..to remind you how talented you are." He says with a small smile.
I smile back and hug him.
"Friends?" I ask.
"Friends." He says and smiles.
Nash's POV:
After my angel left I just wondered around not knowing what else to do. Ugh! I just wish I would just go back into my body. I look around and see..my family. They run through the waiting room past everyone and to the front desk.
"I'm looking for Nash Grier I'm his mother." My mom says worriedly.
I look and see only my Mom and Hayes. I was guessing they would leave Sky but where is my dad. Probably since they are divorced, mom didn't want him to come.
"Um..Grier..Grierr..Oh! Here he is. Um he is in surgery right now so you will have to wait a few minutes until the doctor alerts me it's over." The lady at the desk says nicely.
My mom nods and Cameron and Matthew walk up to her.
"Hello Mrs. Grier." Cameron says.
"Hello Cameron, and hello Matthew." My mom says with a little smile.
"Hey Hayes." Cameron and Matthew say.
"Hey." Hayes says sadly.
Cameron and Matthew hug Hayes and Hayes starts to cry. I hate to see my little brother cry. He might be 14 and that's only two years away from me but he will always be my Hazzzz.

"Okay you can visit Nash now. But family members first." The nurse says to everyone.
Hayes looks up to my mom and my mom has a tear dropping down her cheek and she grabs his hand and they walk into my room. I follow them and I see me for the first time since being in my soul form I guess. I look like shit. Im all bruised up and I have no shirt in so you can see where they stitched me up.
"My poor baby." My mom sobs and takes a seat next to my bed. Hayes still stands up an looks down at me crying.
I start to feel like I want to cry but I can't. I don't know why but it's like I feel an emotion but I can't express it.
"Come on Hayes, let's leave so his friends can see him." My mom says brushing my crappy hair out of my face. My mom walks out of my room while Hayes stay for a second longer. He walks up to my body and hugs me.
"I love you Nash..please stay..Your the best brother I have ever had." He says then leaves.
Layla's POV:
Everyone went to see Nash, now it was my turn..I wanted to last. I walk down the hall to Nash's room. I take a deep breath and walk into the room. I walk over to Nash slowly and look down at him. He looked like crap. Bruised up and you can see his stitches.
"Wow you look like crap." I say with a chuckle.
Nash knows my humor so I knew he wouldn't take it rudely.
I just say there and then I felt sad..really sad. I started to cry.
"Look Nash..this is all my fault. You should of let the knife hit me..not you. You don't deserve to be in here right now." I say crying. I lay my head on his chest and sob. Then I feel cold all around me. I freeze and start to get goose bumps. I feel like Nash is with me..no Layla..your not crazy. I get up and look at Nash one last time before going home for the night.
"Good night Nash." I say then leave the room.
...
I walk out and go to Cameron and hug him crying.
"It's all my fault that should be me in there not him!" I sob into Cameron chest.
"Layla this is not your fault! And neither you or Nash should be in there." He says rubbing my back.
We stand for awhile just waiting for me to calm down. Once I pulled back and wiped my nose I was done, but had a huge head ache.
"Ready?" He ask and I nod.
We walk out to his car and wait for Matt. Matt finally comes running to the car am hops in.
"Sorry I was just asking Elizabeth( Nash's mom) and Hayes if they needed a place to stay. They have a hotel." Matt says.
"Okay,we'll off to the house." Cameron says starting the car and taking off.
....
Finally we pull up to there apartment. Cameron turns off the car and we all get out. We walk up the stairs to there aparment. Cameron opens the door and I run in and plop on the couch. I sigh and text my mom saying I'm at "Brooke's house" and goodnight. She replies with a ":) and goodnight". I smile and shut my phone off.
"We'll I'm going to bed..goodnight Cameron, goodnight Layla." Matt says and walks to his room.
Cameron looks at me and smiles and smashes his lips onto mine. I smile in our kiss. We both pull back and smile.
"Come on let's go to bed." Cameron says and grabs my hand. We walk down the hall and I run and jump on his bed.
"Wow are you like 5." He says and I giggle.
"Hey can I barrow a shirt?" I ask.
"Sure." He says going into his closet an pulling out a shirt.
I take the shirt and about to walk into the bathroom when Cameron stops me.
"You know you don't have to change in there." He says.
"Okay." I say.
I start to pull down my pants and I can feel him looking at me. Right when I'm about to pull them down far enough down to see my underwear I pull them back up quickly and run it the bathroom giggling.
"You tease!" He yells laughing.
I just laugh and get changed. After I was done I walk out but i see no Cameron. Where is he? But my question is answered when I feel to arms wrap around me and pin me down on bed. I laugh an look up at Cameron.
"Your such a tease you know that?" He asks.
"Maybe." I say smiling.
He looks at me and smiles and starts to kiss me. He starts to move down to my jaw then my collar bone. I start to enjoy this but then he stops.
"It sucks doesn't it?" He asks.
"Whatever." I say.
We both lay down and I lay my head on his shoulder and snuggle up to him.
"I missed you Layla." Cameron says kissing my forehead.
"I missed you too." I say.
