Welcome Information

Welcome to my first attempt at a proper graphics awards book. I wanted to open my contests again but thought something like this would be more fun and exciting for everyone. I hope to be able to host these awards to celebrate the design community here on wattpad!

Before you think about submitting your entries there are some things you need to know first. I have tried to cover everything in this section but if you have any more questions feel free to drop a comment in this chapter or pm me!

Who Can Join?
Anyone can join! All you need is a wattpad account and (preferably) a book related to graphic design.

How Can I Submit?
For all categories, you will be required to submit via your wattpad account. You should put a link in your form to the chapter containing the graphic or the book you are submitting. For individual graphics, you can also send a separate outside link via sites like drive, deviantart, imgbb, etc if you want to show off your graphics with their best quality, but the graphic you are submitting must be posted on wattpad as well.

How Many Times Can I Submit For A Category?
You can submit up to two graphics in any one category. When submitting a whole book you can only submit one book per category so choose wisely!

How Many Categories Can I Submit In?
As many as you want. If you want to submit in every category you can! The only restriction is that you cannot submit the same book or graphic in more than one category so make sure you submit it in the one that you think suits your work best!

What Do I Do If My Shop Is Also My Portfolio?
If your shop and portfolio are in the same book then please submit it into either of the two categories but not both. If you are not sure which you should be submitting in please feel free to ask me in this chapter or privately via pm.

What If I Want To Submit My Premade Shop?
If you have a premade shop and wish to submit that please submit it in the shop category. It will be judged the same as any other shop in this category!

Can I Submit A Graphic I Made With Someone Else?
You can only submit collaborative graphics in the "best collabs" category. If you worked on a graphic with other designers you cannot submit it anywhere else.

My Shop/Portfolio Is Shared With Someone Else/Part Of A Group Account, Can I Still Enter?
Yes! You can. The number of designers or graphics in a shop/portfolio will not affect the scores given.

Will "Fame" Matter When It Comes To Judging? (i.e. followers, votes, comments, reads, etc)
No, none of that counts towards the judging. You could have 10 reads or 10k, it doesn't matter since it's your talent and skill as a designer that matters the most!

Do I Need To Make New Graphics To Submit?
You don't have to make new graphics if you don't want to, we accept newly created graphics as well as old graphics. The only categories that require newly created graphics are the prompt challenges as you must make a new graphic that meets the prompt.

If I Become A Judge For One Catagory Will I Still Be Able To Enter My Graphics In The Other Categories?
Judges are only forbidden from entering their own categories. They may join the other categories if they wish, the fact that they are a judge elsewhere will not affect their scores.

Here you can find an estimated schedule for the awards from when submissions will open to when we expect to release the final results. Please note that this is subject to change, however, we will keep it as close to the original dates as possible.
