3 weeks later.
The students were already feeling like secondary school graduates already.
One more week and it is all behind them. The memories, the fun walks, the fights, arguments, love, note passing in class, bullying juniors, beating juniors, being beaten by seniors, Mrs Ikem, assembly, lateness, notes missing, assignments... all of it. Done. and one day they would wake up and realise that but they have no other choice but to move on with their lives.
They would lose their classmates, get closer to some, some would become totally different people, others would lose money, make money, change, evolve beyond regonision but the point is their lives would change drastically after a week.
But also... alot can happen in two weeks.
Emmanuel had the biggest party ever planned out and it would be the best thing to happen to some people.
"Why don't you just leave it as strictly outgoing SS3 students ?" Dayo asked.
"Because we are going to uni and we need to meet 100 lvl people too, ode" Emmanuel said stating the obvious.
"Saying 'we' like you would show up" Victor said laughing.
"I might shock all of you" Emmanuel teased but nobody was fazed because he would never attend his own parties.
The Night Of The Party.
Anjola was scrolling though the class group chat with teary eyes. She knew she was an outcast but she didn't know how much of an outcast she was.
She just wanted to cry and not stop crying till she passes out.
They were all making funny comments and jokes about how she's never having any fun and how she's never been in a relationship or touched a guy and how uptight she is and how she would die a virgin, they were mere teenage jokes but they hurt her... alot.
Yes, she has all the money a girl could want but she was lonely, so lonely, depression was her only friend.
She stood up and walked over to the mirror and stared at her self.
I'm too pretty to let these children of babylon get to me.
She thought staring at her reflection. She had a pretty decent body build and she was proud of it and she was tired of being ran over and being an outcast.
She furiously ripped her gown into two and smiled at her self knowing exactly what she was about to do.
She sat on her sewing machine and was ready to pick her self back up, adrenaline running through her veins, she was about to shock the world.
...
"I cannot believe Isaiah still ignores me" Chidinma said to Ife and Tinuke over the face time as they all got ready for the party.
"Maybe he's mum died" Ife shrugged.
"Blood of Jesus, she n mad ??" Tinuke asked laughing hysterically.
"I mean that's all I can say" ife said.
"Be a normal person. How is our husband?" Chidinma asked Tinuke referring to Victor.
