Laurance and Y/N had given up their search, both of them heading back to the ship.

"Wait, which way was it..?" Y/N looks around, before looking back at Laurance who was holding Celeste.

"I think it was that way," he replies in a questioning tone, obviously he couldn't remember where the boat was either.

"Alright then, I'll follow you," Y/N steps aside and lets Laurance go in front to lead. In a short amount of time, they both come upon the boat..

..but it was on fire..

It took Y/N a moment to register the bright red and orange flames that were licking at the sides of the boat. Laurance however, took no time at all and plopped Celeste into Y/N's arms.

Katelyn was on the ground, Aphmau and Travis ran up to her. The pair must not have been that far behind. Y/N eventually snapped out of her thoughts and went to help try to put out the fire. Aphmau was talking to Katelyn who was on the ground and Laurance and Y/N were focused on the ship.

"Aphmau!" Y/N runs up to the girl, she looks panicked, "What?"

Y/N was even more panicked than she was, "Where are the kids??"

"They were kidnapped.. by a disguised imp.." Y/N clenches her jaw, they had not only Dimitri, but they had Nekoette. She was like her little sister..

"We have to go get them! Aphmau we were supposed to be looking after them!" Regret fills Y/N up as she thinks about how she could've just stayed and helped protect the kids.

"Ophelia, panicking will do nothing for the kids, we'll get them back, but I need to go alone, it's what they wanted in exchange for the kids." Aphmau puts her hands on Y/N's shoulders, giving the girl a light shake.

She thinks for a moment, they want Aphmau, maybe because she's a link to Irene?

Y/N eventually nods, placing her trust in the woman, hoping she wouldn't regret that decision.

She went over to continue putting out the fire and Laurance went with Travis, taking Katelyn to his place. Apparently he had some medicine for her?

Once Y/N finished putting the fire out, she sat down on the top deck of the ship. She leaned on the pole holding up the now burnt sail. Y/N sat there, her eyes slowly closing, giving in to her comfortable and tired body, letting it sleep.

Y/N woke up once again in her own dream world, Mir standing in front of her, waiting for her.

The girl gasped, scooting backward, as far as she could.

"Welcome back darling," Mir purred, looking at her with a proud smirk.

"Just go away! I killed you!" She stands up and grabs a sword out of nowhere. She works with it instead of questioning it.

"You can't kill me again. But I suppose you could hurt me if you so choose." He pauses, "but that wouldn't be very wise.."

"How did you even manage to get in my head like this?!" Y/N yells, holding her sword in a defensive stance.

"It's simple, first I had to merge my soul with your body. I was to die eventually, but I didn't think it'd be you who'd kill me." He stays standing still in his place, he obviously had no intention of fighting her.

"Now, all I really have to do.. is wait for you to die.." he said calmly

Y/N grimaces, she had read about this.

For him to be able to take over, possess her body with his own soul, she has to be killed by someone she loves, not platonically.

But that's not possible is it?
