Eventually, they were able to get the boat to Nahakra Village's dock. Y/N was one of the three that had first gotten off of the boat. She stretched and walked past the moody guard who told them they couldn't go back into the boat. Something about if they did have contraband they'd be able to hide it or something.

Either way, Y/N thought it'd be a great opportunity to explore Nahakra. Since there were bandits she walked in a little suspicious of everyone.

She stood there for a second, taking in the beautiful scenery, the amazing architecture, and the scents of the pastries they had. She felt at peace for a moment only for someone to bump right past her.

They looked very suspicious and they had some sort of box they were trying to quickly hide. She pieced it together.

The suspicious looking clothing, their nervous movements, the fact that they are wearing a mask and hood to cover themselves.

...A thief.

Looking behind her quickly, she realized that the person the thief brushed by before her was Aphmau.

Levin's music box!

That's why it looked sort of familiar to her, she had only seen the box once though. Levin didn't really like to leave the house with it on his person. He felt he would lose it or damage it in some way. Y/N quietly followed the person, her satchel strap clutched in her hand.

The person didn't seem to notice until they looked behind them to see Y/N a few steps away from them. Their eyes widened and they started walking faster, taking sharp turns to try and throw the girl off. It didn't work, this person was terrible at what they did, obviously.

The person eventually ran themselves to this weird column. Either way, she was sort of cornered. Now that Y/N was able to get a closer look, the person looked more on the feminine side. "I believe you have something that isn't yours.. give it back so I can hand it to it's rightful owner.."

The girl in front of her scoffs, "And how do I know you're not trying to steal it?"

Y/N didn't exactly look friendly but she definitely didn't look like a thief unlike this girl who was covering herself as much as possible. "Rude.. but thanks for admitting that it's not actually yours.." Holding her hand out, Y/N gives her a coy smile.

The girl's hands went behind her back, apparently opening a door that Y/N didn't even know was there. They both ended up falling down the stairs, Y/N catching herself while the other girl landed on her face.

Y/N huffs, dusting herself off before pulling the girl up by her shoulder, pinning her against the wall.

Surprisingly, the music box was fine, Y/N moved to grab it but the girl pushed her to the ground.

She grabbed the music box and ran away through the surprisingly long tunnel that probably ran under the whole village. Quickly grabbing her now off of her shoulder, Y/N took the opportunity to hold the girl at arrow point since she had ran herself into a corner.

"Give me the box and I won't let this arrow loose.."

"I- need this for my kids, to f-feed my family..!" She looked all around, everywhere except for where Y/N was.

She was lying, it wasn't hard to tell, since when she did look at Y/N she had a faint smirk on her face.

As if she was expecting Y/N to fall for her lie.

"You're lying." She replies simply, the girl in front of her huffing and crossing her arms.

"This is why I prefer pick pocketing. I'm terrible at confrontation.." she groans, looking Y/N in the eyes.
