What He'd Never Had (Harry Potter)

Summary: Snape has been looking after Harry ever since the boy first came to Hogwarts at age 11. He also found out about Harry's abusive family and age regression from years of caring for him. Snape acts as a father to Harry and cares for him when he's in littlespace.

Harry's little age: 2-3

Snape walked into his cottage, excited to see Harry. He'd adopted the boy when he was 11 and Harry had been living with him when school was out instead of going back m to the Dursleys. Harry was 16 now.

"Harry? I am back, child." Snape closed the door behind him. Harry walked in. "Hi!" He hugged the man who wrapped his arms around him. "I finished my new book, dad!"

Snape smiled warmly, patting the child's head. "Very good, Harry." He knew his son was big right now. He knew Harry used age regression to cope with his past abuse and stuff that happened at Hogwarts.

Harry smiled and looked up at him. "Can I...?" He trailed off softly. Snape frowned. "You can go into littlespace if you want to, Harry, I do not mind..." He reassured him.

Harry grinned. "Thanks, dad..." He went up to his room. He came back a few minutes later in an oversized hoodie with an owl on it, light up sneakers, socks with stars on them and jeans. He looked adorable!

Harry mainly used age regression to live the childhood he never had due to 11 years of abuse and maltreatment. He never had the chance to be a kid, and littlespace helped him with that. He also used it for his anxiety and PTSD, but mainly for the abuse.

"Daddy!" Harry ran up to Snape. "Hello my little one, daddy is here, child." He picked up the light-weight boy and held him in his arms, cuddled him close and protectively.

"Daddy!" Harry said again, nuzzling him gently. Snape chuckled and sat down in the rocking chair. He sat Harry in his lap and rocked him gently while humming.

Harry giggled and cuddled into his chest. "My daddy..." He never had an actual daddy. It felt nice to have one now. Snape had never had a child. It felt good to call Harry his son. "My little son..."

Harry smiled up at him and kissed his cheek. He was very shy, quiet and affectionate in littlespace. He was also playful and cuddly as well. Right now, little Harry was feeling a bit shy in littlespace.

Snape nuzzled him gently.  "You do not have to be shy around me, my dear boy..." He reminded him gently. "I know daddy..." Harry whispered, a shy blush forming.

Snape chuckled and picked up his son, taking him to his room. After 6 years of living with Snape, Harry had his own room with games, toys, and everything he had  wanted that he never had as a until age 11.

"Would you like me to read to you?" Snape asked as Harry nodded. "Yes please daddy!" He loved having his daddy read to him while he was in littlespace.

Snape smiled and sat in a beanbag chair with Harry on his lap. Harry had picked out  a book of animals. "See all of the animals, my little one? Which one is that, cub?"

Harry giggled and looked at the picture Snape pointed too. "A bwown bear!" Snape grinned. "Very good, and these?" Harry's eyes lit up. "A deer! And a badger! And a snake! And a powkypine!" Harry giggled.

Snape awed. "Very good, my smart baby boy." He ruffled Harry's hair lightly. "Fanks daddy!" He bibbled on his thumb. Snape tsked and gave him a pacifier.

Harry giggled and sucked on his yellow and red pacifier. "Daddy!" He lifted his arms up, wanting to be held. Snape chuckled and picked him up. "Daddy's got you, my tiny one..." He held him protectively and smiled.

Harry leaned his head on his father's shoulder gently, sucking on his pacifier. Snape smiled and rocked him gently in his arms, rubbing his back and head gently.

Harry sighed happily, feeling calm and carefree. "Hawwy wuv woo daddy!" Snape awed. "I love you too, Harry..." He said sincerely, hugging his little one close.

A few minutes later, Harry had an idea. "Daddy? Can Hawwy hwelp woo in your potions lab pweas?" He asked as Snape nodded. "Of course, my dear child."

He often let Harry work with him in making harmless potions while while was in littlespace. They put on cloaks and safety  goggles just for fun, and got to work. Snape smiled and hugged him close.

"Okay little one, can you hand daddy the orange cup?" He asked as Harry grabbed it. "Yesh daddy! Owange!" He gave it to Snape. "Very good, can you used me the red one?"

Harry grabbed it and handed it to him. "Wed!" Snape smiled. "Great work, can you hand me the green one over there?" Harry nodded, grabbing it as his eyes lit up.

"Gween! It gween wike Hawwy's eyes daddy!" Harry babbled as Snape awed. "Yes my little one, your eyes are green, you are smart, my little Harry, my baby boy."

Harry giggled and babbled happily while Snape finished up the potion. "Thank you very much for helping, Harry...daddy is very pleased and proud of you."

Harry grinned and cuddled into him. "Chu welcome daddy! Hawwy happy hawwy made woo pwoud!" Harry babbled as Snape smiled and picked him up.

"You always make me proud, baby boy!" He reassured him, nuzzling his boy gently. Harry giggled. "Yay!" He loved spending time with his adoptive father. It made  him feel happy, small and cheerful.

Harry cuddled up to him happily. "Hawwy wuvs woo daddy, fank woo for letting Hawwy be wittle..." He whispered shyly as Snape awed and stroked his hair gently.

"I love you you my little one, but you do not have to think daddy, daddy loves seeing you so happy, and daddy knows how much you need and love this..." Snape smiled.

Harry's eyes sparkled with joy. He hugged his daddy close, feeling warm, safe and happy. Littlespace helped him and made him feel so happy, but his daddy made him happier. And he loved his daddy so much.

Snape had given him what he'd needed.

What he'd wanted.

What he'd never had...
