The turtles were on patrol. Mikey was out of littlespace as he held his nunchucks, standing beside his big brothers as they held him close. He was not allowed to be on patrol when he was regressed.
Ever since the turtles found out Mikey was a little, they were more overprotective of him than normal. Mikey didn't mind though. He liked having his big brothers protect him. It made him feel safe.
"Careful, Mikey." Donnie says when he saw Mikey almost trip.
"I'm being careful, D!" Mikey playfully rolled his eyes as they chuckled lightly.
But it wasn't long before trouble started.
"Guys, Purple Dragons!" Leo announced as the ninjas immediately jumped into action. They started battling the enemy. Mikey fought too, eagerly, alongside his anis.
Suddenly, one of the Purple Dragons, Tsoi, hit Mikey, making him fall to the ground. Normally, Mikey would have jumped right back up.
But this time, Mikey accidentally regressed.
He started to cry as he rubbed his arm which had a scrape on it. "O-Owie...!" He sobbed as the turtle's eyes widened. This had never happened before. He had never regressed while on patrol before and certainly not during a fight.
"Mikey!" Raph gasped. He immediately picked up Mikey who whimpered and cried. Raph growled at the Purple Dragons. Donnie took Mikey from Raph and held him protectively.
"Protect Mikey!" Leo ordered. They didn't want Mikey getting more hurt. And they didn't want him fighting while in littlespace. It was too risky.
Mikey cried into Donnie's chest as he rubbed his arm. He was scared and his arm was bleeding. Donnie held Mikey close and rocked him lightly. "It's okay otouto, I'm here, you're safe..."
Raph and Leo beat up the Purple Dragons while forming a protective circle around Donnie who was holding Mikey. Mikey continued to cry.
Donnie hummed softly as he dodged a blow from one of the Purple Dragons. Raph and Leo growled and fought harder. "You hurt our baby brother!"
Soon, they defeated all of the Purple Dragons. Mikey was still whimpering and clinging to Donnie as he shook softly in his oldest brother's arms.
Leo immediately took Mikey in his arms, looking at Mikey's injury. Luckily, it was just a scrape. But Mikey didn't like getting hurt. He cried softly as Raph and Leo held him.
"Shh, it's okay baby brother, I'm gonna make you all better." Donnie promised as he cleaned up Mikey's arm and put a pizza bandage on it.
Mikey's eyes lit up when he saw the bandage as he stopped crying. "Ooo! Thank you, ani!" He wrapped his arms around Donnie who awed.
"You're welcome, baby brother!" Donnie tickled Mikey who burst into giggles. "T-That tickles!" Mikey squealed. Raph and Leo awed.
They hugged Mikey close to them, feeling very overprotective of him. Mikey cuddled against them, feeling a little better in his onni-sans's arms.
They returned home, holding Mikey protectively as Mikey leaned against them, churring softly. The turtles churred softly back, holding him.
Mikey cuddled up to his big brothers and played with them for the rest of the day. "Fanks for pwotecting me, nii-sans!" Mikey grinned up at them.
The turtles smiled and hugged Mikey close. "We'll always protect you, otouto..."
They took care of him and played with him for the rest of the night!
