Takes place after the episode 'Invasion of the Squirrelanoids'!

Summary: Mikey ends up having a nightmare the night of the Squirrelanoids incident. He involuntarily regresses out of fear, and his big bros help him calm down and fall back asleep!

Mikey's agere age for this one is 3!

It had been a long night for the turtles. Chaos ensued when a bunch of squirrels became mutates in the city. It was up to the terrapin bros to get rid of them.

It wasn't easy, but Mikey was ultimately the one to stop the Squirrelanoids. He used popcorn to lead the mutants into the sewers, basically flushing them away.

Mikey's genuis plan worked, but unfortunately, the youngest suffered a near death experience when a Squirrelanoid grabbed him.

Poor Mikey was dragged underwater by the creature, nearly dying. Luckily, Leo, Raph, and Donnie used their bodies to form a turtle chain so Raph could pull Mikey to safety.

Mikey was safe, but traumatized. The brothers soon returned to their lair, relieved that everything was okay. The brothers hugged each other, relived that they hadn't lost Mikey.

They all went to their rooms as soon as they got home due to being exhausted and from staying awake an hour or two longer than normal. Mikey waa so tired that he fell asleep almost immediately.

However, the poor turtle soon had his good dreams attacked by a nightmare...

Nightmare sequence:

Mikey gasped as he felt himself being yanked underwater without warning. He couldn't breath. He was dying. it was like the near-drowning was happening all over again.

The orange-banded terrapin tried to escape, but the Squirrelanoid only tightened its grip on Mikey's leg. Black spots danced in his vision as he went deeper into the gross sewer water.

Mikey was forced to re-live the moment through the nightmare. If that wasn't bad enough, a omSquirrelanoid suddenly started attacking Mikey,  scratching and biting at his face.

The rest of the Squirrelanoids soon attacked, biting Mikey all over his body as be screamed in terror and pain, causing bubbles to shoot up to the surface.

End of nightmare:

Mikey gasped sharply, sitting up. He frantically looked around his room, before sighing in relief. He was safe now. "T-That was...terrifying..." Mikey whimpered softly.

He had idea why he dreamed about the Squirrelanoids attacking him, that didn't happen. It was bad enough he had to re-experience the near death experience he'd had.

The poor thing was shaking like a leaf. He wanted his brothers. He was scared. Poor Mikey felt his mind turn fuzzy. He was involuntarily regressing due to fear.

Mikey whimpered again. He didn't want to bother his brothers, but he needed them. He felt a bit smaller than normal due to his terror.

Reluctantly, Mikey grabbed his teddy bear and orange blanket before creeping into the hallway. He was suprised to see lights on in the main lair area.

The little one toddled in there slowly. He was shocked to see all three of his big brothers sitting on the couch. Mikey assumed they were asleep.

Leo was the first to spot Mikey. They all knew that Mikey was regressed because of how tightly he was holding his blanket. "Mikey? You okay?" Raph asked.
He could see the fear in his baby brother's eyes.
