Scary Dreams (TMNT-2012)

Summary: Mikey has a nightmare and wakes up scared and regressed! It's up to his big brothers, big sister, and father to comfort him and help him get back to sleep.

Mikey's agere age is 3!

Mikey's nightmare sequence:

"No! Leave them alone!" Mikey cried as he watched his father, sister, and brothers being dragged away by giant pizza faces that had stingers like wasps. "Leave my family alone!" The orange-banded brother yelled.

A loud buzzing sound filled the air. "Mikey!" Leo yelled.

"Help us!" Donnie begged.

"Please, my son!" Splinter choked out.

"We need you!" Karai added, sobbing.

"Help!" Raph yelled out terrified.

"I...I'm trying!" Mikey tried to fend off the monstrous creations. The buzzing got louder and more intense. Like everything was vibrating. But he was powerless to help his family. The pizza-faced wasp creations attacked Mikey's family.

"No...!" Mikey sobbed as his family yelled out and cried in pain. "Papa! Anis! Aneki!" Mikey fell to the ground, crying. "No, no, no..." 

The buzzing sound grew closer to him as one of the grotesque creatures grabbed Mikey, dragging him away.

End of nightmare:

"No!" Mikey jolted awake with a gasp. "H-Hwelp me...!" He sobbed, slipping involuntarily into littlespace. "Papa! Onni-sans! Aneki!" Mikey wailed as his family immediately came in.

"Mikey?" Karai walked up to Mikey's bed. "Hey, hey...what's wrong baby brother...?" She sat on the bed and took him into her lap. Mikey only could cry.

Raph, Leo, Donnie, and Splinter all cuddled Mikey as well. They just let the lite one cry it out. Donnie rubbed Mikey's carapace soothingly, Raph nuzzled him and churred, Leo held Mikey's hand, Splinter rocked Mikey gently and Karai held him close.

"I've got you, baby bro...it's all gonna be okay...we all love you so much..." Karai cooed.

"Just let it all out, otouto...we're not going anywhere..." Leo whispered, squeezing Mikey's hand gently.

"You're safe, little brother...it's all okay now..." Raph murmured, holding him protectively.

"We're all here for you, little one..." Donnie soothed, continuing rubbing Mikey's carapace.

"Papa has got you, my little cub..." Splinter calmly cooed, cuddling Mikey close.

After about 10 of this, Mikey fully calmed down. He was still shaking a bit and whimpering, but he wasn't crying as hard as before. "There we go, buddy...can you tell us what happened...?" Donnie asked softly.

"T-There were giant pizza faces...a-an dey all had stingers, wike wasps...an d-dey took all of you aways...an h-huwted you...an you were cwying an scweaming for me to hwelp you...b-but I couldn't..."

Mikey whimpered before continuing. "An...y-you were all gone...an I cwied...t-then the scawy fings came after me...and took me a-away...and attacked me..."

Mikey cried softly as the poor regressed baby was shaking. They all immediately held Mikey closet at that. "Oh, aka-chan...that will never happen, the parasitic wasps and pizza faces are gone..." Splinter murmured, knowing those two things really frightened Mikey.

"I-I know, but it f-fwelt so weal..." Mikey whimpered. He clung to his family, still shaking.

"Aw, sunshine..." Karai hugged him close and protectively.

"Nightmares can be scary, huh...?" She kissed his cheek gently, knowing her precious baby brother liked gentle kisses on his head or cheeks 

Mikey sniffled and nodded. "Uh-huh an scawy too..." He whispered, crying a bit.

"It's all okay now, little brother..." Donnie churred softly. "You're safe and so are we..." Raph added, cooing.

"It's all okay now, sweetheart..." Leo nuzzled his baby bro.

"Y-You pwomise...?" Mikey asked with big eyes.

"We promise, little sunshine..." Splinter soothed. "We promise..." They all cuddled Mikey close once more, showering him with gentle cuddles, cheek and head kisses, and back rubs/pats. Mikey slowly calmed down, soothed by his loving family.

After a bit of this, the turtle tot yawned. "Aw, you're tired aren't you little one...?" Karai cooed.

"Uh-huhs...but I'm scawed I'll have another scawy dweam..." Mikey whispered.

"It's okay Mike, we can help ya go back to sleep..." Raph smiled softly, cuddling his baby bro.

"And with all of us sleeping with you, you'll be safe from anymroe bad dreams..." Donnie added as Mikey smiled a little.

Leo grabbed Mikey's orange comfort blanket. Raph grabbed all of Mikey's plushies. Donnie grabbed Mikey's bedtime pacifier that was orange and said 'bedtime' with a moon on it.

Splinter made Mikey some warm milk and put it in a bottle. Donnie grabbed a calm bedtime book. And Karai played some soft lullaby music and was humming along to it.

Mikey's tired eyes lit up happily. He was so loved! Splinter cuddled Mikey close and sat the tot on his lap before helping him drink the warm milk.

Mikey drank the bottle slowly, savoring the comforting drink. "Good little one..." Splinter cooed as Mikey finished the bottle.

Leo wrapped Mikey in his comfort blanket. "Nice and comfy...." Mikey yawned and nestled into his blanket.  Raph handed him his plushies.

"I know ya can't sleep without these guys, little brother..." Mikey beamed and hugged his plushies.

Donnie read Mikey a calm bedtime story and popped a pacifier into the young turtle's mouth. Mikey leaned on Donnie as the story was red and sucked on his pacifier.  "And they lived happily ever after..." Donnie finished the story.

Mikey yawned adorably. His family awed.
Karai cuddled her baby bro close as they were all in Mikey's bed together, cuddling and staying close to the sleepy turtle. Karai sang a soothing lullaby to her little bro as Mikey's puffy eyes drooped.

"Go to sleep, little sunshine...we're not going anywhere..." Splinter cooed as Mikey closed his eyes slowly. He fell asleep in the arms of his family.

Mikey, surrounded by his family, slept soundly that night, knowing that he and his family were safe.

As long as they were there...
