As soon as I heard such stupidity come out of his mouth, I instantly screamed, catching everyone off guard."No!! You can't do that!!"
"Why?"
"Because!! You can't just call the police like that!! They'll just make the situation worse!!!" Tiffany's eyes and ears promptly turned towards me immediately after noticing our conversation mentioned the police.
"No, the police will only cause more problems if we call them, we'll file for a missing report only after the full twenty four hours have passed." Tiffany whispered into my ear as she went closer and closer towards it, getting all over my face, in a sort of panicky way.
I quickly sighed, as I held the cellphone that was on my hands, putting it right next to my ear, while I had to try and convince Bang Chan into not calling the police, knowing that it was going to form a long argument between all of us and I wasn't even sure if it was going to be enough to convince him into not getting the authorities involved.
And surely enough, I was right, he wasn't going to back down so easily. I honestly couldn't blame him, any normal person in a situation like this would call the police, but guess what? We were never (and never will be!) normal.
"Chan, listen to me, surely this isn't what Rose would want. Knowing her, she wouldn't like us to call the cops."
"Are you sure?" he sounded fairly surprised and saddened in a way, to know that if she was right there in the moment, she would agree with us.
Maybe he thought that he was starting to change her, maybe he thought he could help her become normal, but in reality none of us could ever be normal.
"Yes, now listen to me, what we're going to do is just look around the neighborhood and if we don't find anything..."
"Then we'll alert the authorities."
Rose's POV
"What type of answer is that Jae?!" I teasingly shouted as I hit what I presumed to be his stomach, although I wasn't too sure about that, but I chose to ignore it, as wherever I decided to hit him, would not matter, because my intention would still be the same.
Well...maybe with some small restrictions, so maybe not any part of his body, but MOST of it.
"That question is too specific!!"
"Whatever." I groaned, knowing that I had just lost a question that I could've used for...anything else.
"Would you personally go there every day?"
"No, not really, although I have heard of people going every week that it's available, but only if you had the time to do so."
"You have fifteen questions left." the thought of having fifteen questions left and not having a clue on this mysterious place whatsoever, felt pressuring and irritating to me at the same time.
"Is it within nature?"
"No, I wouldn't really say so, not this specific one."
"Is it the movies?"
"We literally just watched a movie Rose!!" I made an "O" face with my mouth as I stared towards him in shock, realizing that he was right and noticing how stupid of a question that was.
"You're right...I TAKE IT BACK!!!"
"You can't take a question back." God damn it, what did he mean by that?! Not being able to take a question back?! What a rigged game this was!!! In that moment, I had promised myself that I was never going to play anymore guessing games with Jae, as he ruined the fun out of them.
