After the video came into a sudden cut, the two confusingly said their goodbyes, as Dahyun's manager grabbed her by the hand and dragged her out of the building, complaining at how long they took and how late they were to their next schedule.
Once they arrived at the studio where they were filming and recording the podcast, Dahyun's members greeted her with a friendly smile, as she quickly sat down and heavily apologized for being so late.
Some time passed by and the news of her and Hyunjin becoming the next MCs of Music Bank was announced and both of their respective fandoms were ecstatic and shocked by the news.
Some people began to question how on earth Dahyun managed to get such a job, as she had just debuted, especially with someone like Hyunjin, who had already served some time in the industry. She couldn't blame them, Dahyun was also quite confused as to how she had managed to qualify for the position, but she wasn't going to ask questions and instead just decided to accept it.
Today was their first interview and performance together and they were both getting their makeup and hair together. Hyunjin's makeup artist had just finished with his look, while Dahyun's was still in process.
He walked towards her and pulled a chair to sit down, while her makeup artist was getting something. Dahyun was texting her member's group chat, while he was just standing there, looking down at her phone.

"Who even uses light mode these days? How can you see those messages in the dark?" she looked up to find Hyunjin, staring right at her. Dahyun quickly put her phone away, staring back at him with widened eyes.
"W-why are you even looking at my phone in the first place?!" he sighed, as he fixed his posture.
"I don't know, just bored I guess."
"Don't you have anything better to do?" she rolled her eyes, moving her phone and body away from him, trying her best to not show him how red her cheeks were becoming.
She didn't want her little crush to affect her performance and her interview. Dahyun didn't want to get scolded by her members, especially Tiffany and Rose, who were extra harsh on her.
You would think that because Dahyun was older than Tiffany, Dahyun would be the one who would be the one berating her, but that just wasn't the case. Tiffany always leaded the girls towards the right decision; She was wise and responsible, she knew exactly what to do and how to solve this during a fight.
Tiffany would have been the perfect leader for F5, at least in the eyes of those who didn't know any better. The only problem was that she always had that sort dictator-like rule against F5 and always convinced and imposed her rules.
That is why the rest thought that Rose would be a better fit, as she let the others have their own opinions and always went with the majority...but obviously she was very conscious of Tiffany's words. She always took Tiffany's words very seriously and tried to, at the end of the day, make everyone happy.
No one knows why Rose has gives so much importance to her words and is almost scared of her, but from what Dahyun had concluded, Tiffany must have proven Rose wrong in something and fixed her problem, like she had always done, but that problem must have been one super severe. Maybe she had saved her from Taeyong, maybe she had given her advice on what to do to be able to make it the final cut and debut...there really wasn't a way to find out.
"No, not really," Hyunjin said, moving his chair toward her.
"Are you feeling nervous? There's a lot of people out there waiting for us." he randomly asked, lightly shaking his leg, wanting to just get out there a perform already.
"A bit...it just feels weird."
"It feels weird performing with the guy you left to pay the check?" Dahyun's hands ran deep into her face and hair, wanting the earth to just swallow her up then and there, while Hyunjin was just laughing at her.
"I didn't mean to-"
"Dahyun, I'm so sorry for taking so long. They didn't have the foundation I was looking for so I had to send out a staff member to buy a new one." the makeup artists had then shortly walked and once she did, both Dahyun and Hyunjin looked at each other and back at the makeup artist.
"Uhhh...did I interrupt something?"
"No!! Not at all!!"
