Rose's POV

As we played games and rode how many rides we possibly could, losing at every single game we laid our hands upon, we laughed at each other's failures and cowardliness towards the most scariest rides the carnival had.

Playing one of the many games available, I had finally won something, a small, (but cute nonetheless!) brown teddy bear, it's eyes glistening as soon as I had won it.

Once I had my hands on it, I immediately flexed my new teddy bear, a teddy bear that Jae could never have, because he didn't have brains nor strengths that I had to win it.

Ultimately making me the better and stronger person out of the two of us.

"Wow, you're so good at games."

"Yea, you should know your place, amateur." as soon as those words came out of my mouth, he pulled me closer to him, having a smug smile in his face, grabbing me by the waist.

I hated myself for feeling those butterflies fly around in my stomach, I wanted to kill them all and never feel them again for him.

"Amateur?"

"Yes, you heard me right!! You're nothing but an amateur!!"

"You only won game though, let's not forget the fact that you had lost a ton before this one."

"And?! You lost a ton too!!" he released me from such tight grip of his, making me stumble a little bit, which made him slightly chuckle at my subtle clumsiness.

"What time is it?" he suddenly asked, catching my a bit off guard, as I honestly forgot about how much time had passed by and my phone entirely, as I had it on silent.

I quickly turned on my phone, only to be greeted by a ton of messages and calls from all my members and even some calls from Chan himself.

"Sh*t..." I mumbled under my breath as I immediately texted our group chat, that was supposed to be used for important meetings and schedules but we just used it to send a bunch of memes and to tell each other that dinner was ready.

F5 GROUP CHAT

Me:
Guys, I can explain

Chaeyong:
Where the f*ck have you been?!
We've been searching for you for two hours now!!

Me:
I'll be home soon, just wait a few more minutes
I'll explain everything once I arrive

"Sh*t..." I mumbled under my breath, putting my hands all over my face in frustration.

Jae immediately noticed something was wrong with me, appearing to be worried for my sake.

"What's wrong?" he asked while I was putting my phone in silent, not wanting to receive any of their messages in that moment.

Too bad they were already one step in front of me, because as soon as was about to press that button, I received a phone call from Bang Chan, making that corn dog ,that I had just finished eating, drop towards the bottom of my stomach.

I hesitantly picked up the phone and answered his call, not sure if I should have ignored the call and continued on with my night, or answered it and be prepared for whatever yelling, screaming, crying was coming my way.

But not even the most prepared could ever expect this call.

"Hello?"
