Chapter 74

"What?! What for?!" he started to peek from the window, checking to see who was knocking so vigorously at the door.

"It's just Jaehyun!!" he kept looking at her with confused eyes, like if he just couldn't understand why she was acting in such a ridiculous way.

"You don't understand, you need to hide me." Rose appeared to be so desperate in his eyes and once he finally started to get the memo, he decided to finally help her.

"Hide in Johnny's old room, it's probably the most safest place here." he pointed towards a small door at the end of the eerie hallway, with twitching lights and creaking wooden floors. She nodded and slowly creeped up to the room.

Once she had arrived, she immediately locked herself in and frantically tried to find the perfect place to hide, which ultimately was decided to be the closet.

Rose started to drag as many clothes she could to hide her body, with her body shivering from the sudden cold she started to feel.

Dahyun's POV (Flashback)

"She's just too damn good at hiding!!" I yelled out of frustration immediately once I realized we had lost her. The rest just looked as upset as me...well some more than others, if you know what and who I mean.

"You know where she is, don't you?" Tiffany then asked Jaehyun, looking straight at him with a very suspicious expression while he looked at her like if he was just wrongly accused.

"How am I supposed to know that?!" she, somehow, some way, knew that he was lying and she sure wasn't going to let him get away with that lie.

"Split up, Chan...take Jae with you." a huge gasp escaped my lips as all of my members and even including Felix, I.N and Han, looked at her like if she was just absolutely crazy for even thinking that was a good idea, but she just glanced us up and down with a nonchalant expression.

It was like if she wanted something to happen, just for Jae to start opening up about his true intentions.

If he wasn't going to tell the truth willingly, she was going to have to force it out of him, using violence.

TIME SKIP

"Jae?! Where the hell are you?! Don't tell me he escaped too!!" although I was sure that leaving Bang Chan and Jaehyun alone was going to be a bad idea, I didn't think it was going to be a bad idea for THAT reason.

I mean who would've thought Chan would lose him instead of absolutely beating the sh*t out of him?!

At one point we caught him around the exit, yet it honestly seemed like if he was just waiting for us to catch him, instead of actively trying to escape. We tried our best to investigate by putting pressure on him, yet it didn't look so promising.

"Come on!! Just give up!! You know we're going to find her at one point, so just tell us now!!" as soon as he shook his head, I let out a load groan, feeling absolutely hopeless.

"Not until you calm down."

"WE ARE CALM!!!"

"Well he doesn't look to being calming down anytime soon." he pointed at Chan, who kept holding him down by the arm.

"I mean, to be fair, he does have a reason to be angry Jae." argued Chaeyong, who I mean, wasn't wrong at all, like it was completely self explanatory.

"All we're trying to do is find her so we can get back home and fully awake by 6 AM...it's 1 AM."

He still wouldn't say anything and there was no reason for him not to say anything, yet he still wouldn't let it go, which was very strange.

"If you truly know where she is, this means that you had to send her somewhere, or at least she would've told you where she was hiding." Tiffany speculated, looking at Jae straight in the eye and not even daring to lose eye contact with him; My guess is she was trying to make him feel inferior or at least like if it was over him.
