Narrator's POV

The cold air kept rushing from behind her, making her continue to run until Rose finally found something that caught her eye.

A bus stop?

She decided to sit there, not even sure if the bus was ever going to come, especially at such time of the hour, yet she still decided to wait for it; Having some sort of hope and desperation in her that was waking up, she wanted to escape in far distances, distances that her feet could never reach.

A sudden bumping noise could be heard from far, only making her even more surprised when seeing the vehicle coming straight at her. A relieving smile could be seen in Rose's face, as she stepped into it and sat down.

The only thing that she could really do was just sit there and wait, until she saw the big, red bridge that Jaehyun was talking about, that would apparently guide her towards his place. But for now, in that moment, Rose felt so giddy that she couldn't even look at her phone straight, so she decided to just watch the many buildings that drove right past...well at least that's how it felt like to her.

Some time passed by, she wasn't really sure how many minutes had passed, the bus came towards a unexpected stop, catching her by complete surprise. A bright, glowing, neon city stood right in front of her while she got off.

Staring at the busy people who all just walked right past her, just passing by her life while having their own individual lives that might have been similar to hers or completely different.

Yea...hopefully it's completely different-

Cause like, who'd like to have a life like that?! Definitely not me, at least

Although this place was filled with a bunch of people, it was awfully quiet, towards the point where the only thing you could hear was the accumulated steps that went "pit-a-pet" each time they'd walk, being very similar to the sound that she could hear inside of her heart.

Everyone seemed okay, yet here she was, memories entangled and absolutely exhausted, both mentally and physically from running away. Her memories started to twist and turn, while she wondered if it was truly better back then, then being here alone from everyone she was.

Yet surely she felt better alone than being stuck over there, back where she started and came from. She was starting to feel comfortable in the bright city filled with overwhelming, neon lights, yet a small part of her still thought about all of the "what ifs" and "how's" that could have happened.

What if she stayed back in Australia? How would that have affected her character? Would she still have been the same person as she was in that moment?

Rose's parents decided to move to Korea, due to the fact that her father had found a better job in Seoul, yet around the time that she was preparing to debut, they had to go back to Australia.
