The "Final" Battle

1300 hours

"It's easy to feel hopeful on a beautiful day like today, but there will be dark days ahead of us too. There will be days where you feel all alone, and that's when hope is needed most. No matter how buried it gets, or how lost you feel, you must promise me that you will hold on to hope. Keep it alive. We have to be greater than what we suffer. My wish for you is to become hope; people need that. And even if we fail, what better way is there to live? The battle began,

Erica leaped through the glass ceiling and landed next to Joshua. I followed her but with less speed. He lept out of his recliner and started running out the door. Then Zoe and Jawa emerged from the front door blocking Joshua's path. Joshua realizing he had nowhere left to run, prepared to fight us. Erica lunged at him and he parried her attacks. Joshua kicked Erica sending her flying backward. Jawa and Zoe joined the fight each taking a side to attack from. I even got in on the action throwing a punch to Joshua's back, that punch probably hurt me more than it hurt him. Joshua was a skilled fighter but was no match for the three of them combined. Realizing this Joshua made a run for it when he was stopped by Chip who threw a punch knocking him down. Joshua pulled himself up and threw Chip to the ground and ran out of the building. We chased after him. Erica threw a grappling hook at him make him trip and fall, allowing us to catch up to him. Just then 6 black SUVs pulled up outside surrounding the building. The van doors opened and back military soldiers poured out surrounding us. Then a white SUV arrived and the doors opened revealing all my enemies ... Mrs. E, Leo Shang, Mrs. Shanghai, Ashley Sparks, Warren Reeves, and Jenny Lake ......

Without wasting any time Erica and the rest of the gang attacked. The soldiers opened fire but it was too late as they were easily taken down by the spies in training. I even took down a soldier, barely. I saw Jenny Lake in a deadly fight with Zoe, Zoe had the upper hand but Jenny was managing to parry her attacks. Zoe gave Jeny a hard uppercut to her jaw sending her flying backward. Jenny started climbing up the ladder to the roof. I started running after her Zoe right behind me leaving our friends to fight the rest of the bad guys. Jenny, realizing she was trapped up here prepared to fight us. "Ben go, I can handle Jenny," Zoe said. "No, this is my fight too Zoe," I responded. Jenny had tried to kill me and my friends countless times and I wanted revenge. Zoe sighed and nodded her head. "I'd listen to your girlfriend Ben," Jenny said mockingly. We ran at her and began attacking her from each side. I surprisingly did well and managed to knock her down. She got up and slid under Zoe making Zoe slip and slide off the roof of the building...

Time slowed down as I ran to save Zoe. I slid down toward the edge and managed to grab her arm. Her weight was too much and I couldn't hold on to her for much longer. Zoe seeing this said "It's ok Ben let me go." I was crying now, Zoe had been my first friend at Spy School. She had always believed in me and no matter what happened she was always at my side. "NO!" I shouted. "SOMEONE HELP" I screamed hoping the others would hear. Erica, Jawa, and Chip were all locked in deadly combat with Erica taking on Leo and Mrs. Shang. Jawa facing off against Dane and Mrs.E with Chip helping him. Ashley and Warren sat on the ground unconscious near them. My arm was starting to give away. I gathered all my strength but it wasn't enough. "Ben promise me something," Zoe said her eyes filled with tears ."Yes?" "You must promise me that you will hold on to hope. Keep it alive. We have to be greater than what we suffer. My wish for you is to become hope; people need that." And with that Zoe slipped from my hands and fell toward the ground...
