With Warren in custody, we prepared for our next target. We decided on Ashley due to the fact that California was much closer than all the other locations our enemies were hiding. It also was the easiest way o find because Ashley a few days ago had booked a hotel room using her real name. We looked up the hotel and booked a room there using fake names. Cyrus then began work on booking us a flight to California.
We didn't even have any time to return back to campus because Cyrus booked us tickets to California that night. We sat in the ruined living room of Warrens's house. We had explained to Warrens's parents who Warren actually was and they were shocked. I think it was partly because they thought Warren was so incompetent that he couldn't possibly be a bad guy. "Alright let's get going!" Cyrus said. We exchanged confused faces and Cyrus explained "I booked us seats on a plane that leaves for California in 4 hours" There were a collective "Ah ok" and "Got it". We filed into the truck Erica had commandeered earlier. Since there were only 4 seats 3 people had to sit outside the truck. Mike, Jawa, and Myself were forced into this.
The entire ride to the airport was torture for us in the back. Every time there was a bump in the road we could get thrown up into the air. The entire time I held onto the truck-bed for dear life. Once we arrived we sprinted to our gate with little time to spare. Once we arrived and got everything sorted we got into our seats. I sat next to Erica and prepared for a long flight.
Sorry if this chapter was not really entertaining. I needed a plot chapter with less dialogue sorry. Thanks for 1.6k btw!!!
