Joshua's Hideout

1300 hours
We stood on top of a glass roof, full battle gear on.
So many things were wrong with this. One, we were standing on glass that could easily break, although Erica assured me it was safe. Two, we had been sitting there for 2 hours watching Joshua watch TV. "Remind me again why we need to sit here and watch Joshua binge-watch Netflix?" I asked annoyed. Erica stood up from her binoculars and radio headset and walked over. "Because I want to be sure he is alone." She said. I nodded even though I wasn't on board with killing Joshua. "Erica," I asked. "Yes?" "Do you think Catherine would want you to kill Joshua? You know she hated killing people." Erica immediately grabbed me by the collar and shoved me against the brick door that lead to the roof. Through gritted teeth, she hissed at me "Yes, she would, and don't you dare ever say what she would want". Her eyes suddenly widened and she dropped me immediately." I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you I-I just don't know what to do She said through tears. I immediately walked over to her to comfort her. "I failed to save her and now my mothers gone forever." Erica said putting her hands over here eyes to hide her tears. "Erica it's not your fault you couldn't do anything to save her. It was Joshua's fault." I gently stroked her hair and said "She loved you more than anything in this world. You never failed her, never ever." Erica stood up. "Ben we are all alone now. Cyrus is locked in his room depressed, my father has resigned from the CIA our friends are wrecks what do we do?" I suddenly realized we were alone and with no help. "Actually" A voice said. Me and Erica turned expecting Joshua. "You're not alone" Said Zoe Zibbel. With her were Jawa and Chip, two of my closest friends at spy school. I smiled "Zoe!" I ran over and hugged them. When we broke away Erica spoke. "Thank you for coming. We have a chance to finally.... capture Joshua." Everyone nodded in agreement. I grabbed Erica's hand, she stiffened and looked weary. "We're ending this once and for all." She smiled and prepared our plan of attack.
FYI since no one responded to my poll I just decided to make lots of short chapters for this "big event" Also there's gonna be a HUGE Andrew Garfield Spiderman reference that affects the whole story!!!!! The next chapter should be out in the next hour or two.
Also we are almost at 300 reads so if you could all please comment feedback and suggestions etc it would be really helpful!!!
