I was thrown back into the steel iron door. The entire room was collapsing and I was being lifted up and carried. My vision was faint and I could barely make out my surroundings..

Erica's POV (Because Ben's knocked out)

I had one objective, find Ben. When the room exploded I was launched into the wall and probably broke a couple bones. But that didn't matter, all that mattered was that Ben and Grandad was safe. Ben, Ben was all I had left in this world. Sure I had my Dad and Grandad but Ben was my last hope in people. When Joshua died I had shut myself off from the world and put up emotional barriers. But that all changed when Ben arrived and opened me back up to the world. I smiled remembering the first time Ben made me laugh when we were hiding from SPYDER. It was the first time I had let my guard down and I didn't regret it. **Flashback to real time**

Guards were attempting to get into the destroyed room but it didn't matter to me, I was frantically searching for Ben. When I was about to lose hope I spotted him trapped under pieces of broken roof. No, no no. BEN NO. I ran over to him and checked his pulse. I sighed as I felt a pulse still there. I quickly went about lifting the chunks of roof off of him. I groaned as the roof wouldn't budge. I let out a scream in defeat. Suddenly the roof started lifting up. I turned and saw Jawa, Chip, and Mike lifting the roof off of Ben. I quickly joined in and together we lifted the roof off of Ben. I rushed over to him engulfing him in a hug. I looked up at the boys who just nodded and quickly gathered there things and hurried out of the room which was slowly flooding. I scooped Ben up and ran out the room.

Sorry y'all for the short chapter after such a long time. I'm in the car so the chapter may have a lot of spelling mistakes. Y'all said you wanted more character development from Erica so this chapter did just that, I think.
