I awoke to the feeling of being drugged. 

Then I realized I HAD been drugged. I sat up in a room with walls in pink covered in posters of cats. I smiled knowing who's room I was currently in, Erica Hale's. I pulled myself out of bed and made my way downstairs. There on the couch sat Erica Hale and Catherine Hale. Catherine Hale was a spy for the MI6 the British version of the CIA. She is one of the best spies I have ever seen. So good she managed to hide the fact that she was a spy from the rest of her family for years. "Good morning Benjamin!" She said in a clipped British accent. I smiled "Nice to see you, Catherine." I gave her a hug and her warm embrace made me feel cozy. I pulled away and sat down next to Erica on the couch. She nodded, acknowledging that I was there. "So you were the one who sedated us?" I asked already knowing the answer. "Yes I did, anyone who knocks on our door must be to ensure our safety." She responded. "What about if a neighbors kid lost their frisbee or something over your fence?" Catherine smiled. "We have taken extra precautions to ensure that something like doesn't happen." I nodded.

"Erica has informed me of your situation." She said. "Do you think someone was hired to kill you, Ben?" I froze in shock realizing what she meant. When the whole thing happened I thought It was meant to take out Erica, not me. "Why would anyone want to kill me?" Erica rolled her eyes and explained. "Maybe the fact that you have thwarted the plots of SPYDER multiple times. Then you thwarted the plots of CROATOAN and SMASH." I hope no one saw how red I was. Getting this much praise from Erica Hale was like seeing a Blue Moon, It didn't happen often. "I guess that makes sense," I said shakily. Catherine clearly sensed this and said "Whoever threw that grenade obviously didn't know what they were doing. Therefore, they are no real threat to you at the moment." Erica nodded in agreement. "It's a bit odd why they would use a grenade rather than a sniper or poisoning." My heart stopped and dread rushed over me. Erica looked concerned and asked, "What is it?" My brain slowly put together the pieces and realized. "What if they wanted to force us into hiding knowing we'd go here?" Erica and Catherine stood up instantly. "Benjamin we need to leave now-" She didn't get to finish because the entire roof collapsed revealing a helicopter hovering above the Hale resident. Then enemy soldiers descended from the helicopter armed to kill....
