Escape Artist - Part 2 - Chapter 5

Kikimora's POV

"Goodnight Golden Guard", Kikimora said his eyes closing and his body finally going limp in the scout's arms. Maybe when I bring him back to The Emperor, I'll finally be head of the coven. "Come on, let's take him back to The Emperor" She instructed.

Luz's POV

Luz and Amity crept through the forest, Eda and King had taken the side furthest from the castle. Luz was looking around trying to find Hunter, when she heard a loud bang coming from a clearing a fair way's off. "Hey Amity!" Luz whisper yelled to her girlfriend "Look! over there" She jerked her head in the direction of the noise, Amity nodded and they moved towards the sound. "GRAB HIM" a voice yelled Hang on...I think that's Kikimora...who is she trying to capture though sounds of struggle could be heard as Luz edged closer to the clearing. The air was damp and smelled vaguely of rotting leaves. Just then Luz caught sight of the captive...it was... "Holy Titan, Amity!" Luz looked at Amity panicked "It's Hunter!"

Hooty's POV

Hooty was chilling outside the house, when he decided to go look around the perimeter of the house. The air was nice and...oh it was cold...oh well  Hooty thought I'll have to have that picnic with everyone later!  ((A/N No idea why i did Hooty's POV in here...but uh-))

Hunter's POV

Hunter groaned as his eyes flickered open, he was being carried by an abomaton through the forest. He noticed he was tied around the waist with normal rope.  He looked at his surroundings, he didn't recognise this part of the forest which probably meant- "Uh-Kikimora, Ma'am, are we lost?" "What!? NO WE ARE NOT LOST, I KNOW EXCACT-" Hunter zoned out groaning inwardly. "Kiki don't you know your way around this forest" he mumbled to himself. Just then he heard a rustle in a bush behind them, he looked over and saw a flash of purple hair next to dark brown? Ok, so i can't tell if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Pros: Will probably help me escape Kiki, Cons: They'll only help me escape Kiki to capture me themselves. Luz peeked out of the bush and seeing Hunter looking at them she gave him a big thumbs up, he rolled his eyes but couldn't quite hid the smile that tugged on the corner of his mouth. 

Kikimora's POV

Were they lost, you ask? Although she hated to admit it...yes they were very lost, The Golden Guard was the one who knew most about the forest and Kikimora was not just waking him up so she could ask him how to get to the castle. She felt her cheeks flush as she rambled on about not being lost, when she heard a loud crash, looking up in the direction of the noise she saw that the human and the youngest Blight had somehow run into the clearing, gotten the Golden Guard off of the abomaton that was holding him and the human was now untying him while the Blight was fending off scouts. 

Amity's POV

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Amity asked Luz "I mean he isn't exactly our friend..." Amity trailed off "Yet!" Luz finished her sentence "It doesn't matter if we aren't friends yet he still needs help and we're going to help him!" "aaand we also don't need him back with Emperor Belos" Amity said "Uh-yeah that too" Luz said peeking out from behind the bushes. Only to see that Hunter was looking right at her, she gave him a thumbs up, he rolled his eyes but she see the small smile at the corner of his mouth. "C'mon Amity, Lets go!" Luz jumped out of the bushes and ran over to the coven scouts.

Hunter's POV

Luz ran over to Hunter while Amity fended off the scouts, Luz untied Hunter, called out to Amity and pulled Hunter back to the woods. Amity ran over and Luz was holding Owlbert, Luz told Hunter to get onto Owlbert, first he hesitated I should just go back to Belos on my own terms... but when he looked behind him he saw Kiki and the scouts rushing towards them and he sighed getting onto Owlbert. Owlbert took off and all three of them flew up above the thick canopy, Luz turned her head around to look at Hunter "I thought you were an escape artist" she said raising an eye brow and giggling. Hunter looked away and mumbled something sounding embarrassed, he felt his face and ears grow hot. 

A/N

Well...that was a bumpy ride... A few crazy things happened. Somehow it took me around 12 hours to write this...but then again I kept looking things up and getting distracted by THe OwL HOusE. Anyway I'll try get the next chapter up faster. Keep and eye out for the end of the hiatus and let me know if you find something out that i haven't noticed yet. Have a great evening! Also, I am NOT shipping Luz and Hunter here, Hunter was just embarrassed (But if you do ship Luz and Hunter i won't be upset or annoyed...just I kinda find it weird... You're entitled to your own opinion)
