Trust Issues - Part 2 - Chapter 16

Amity's POV 

"Sorry won't cut it Blight, not that long ago you apologized and promised me that you wouldn't give me away, then what was the first thing you did? Give me away, I cannot trust you Blight and I'm not sure if I ever will" Hunter said and Amity handed a bandage to Luz who tried to put it on a very resistant Hunter "That's fair" Amity said looking down and walking away. 

Hunter's POV

"No-Amity! Hunter just -- wait here -- Amity!" Luz told Hunter before running after Amity, "How would I get anywhere, I can hardly sit up" Hunter grumbled crossing his arms and wincing in pain at the sudden movement. L'il Rascal was resting in Hunter's hair so while Luz was talking with Amity, Hunter decided he was going to try and walk even though he could hardly move. He slowly started getting up and reopened several wounds, wincing but deciding to continue. Hunter began walking around, always in pain but still determined to be be able to walk. He was doing well and walked into the kitchen, when he suddenly remembered something, making him trip and fall onto the ground near Luz and Amity ((A/N Swearing afoot)) "Sh!t" he said trying to force himself into a sitting position, Luz and Amity heard the noise and came running into the room "Hunter?" Amity said moving to his side, while Luz said and rushed to his other side "Hunter! Are you ok?" Hunter waved them off and sat up rubbing his head "What are you doing I told you to-" but Hunter interrupted her and in a slightly panicked voice neither Luz nor Amity had heard him use, he said "L'il Rascal, I left him outside my room-" Amity held a hand up to silence him "Did you hear that?" she asked, Hunter looked at her confused for a second, but then he heard it too "...yeah.."

Amity's POV

"You guys wait here, I'm going to go check it out..." Amity said letting go of Hunter, she heard a small "oof" and guessed that he had been leaning on her a little bit. As Amity walked cautiously outside, she heard the sound again and turned towards it purple fire covering her hands. Kikimora walked out of the bushes "Hello Amity Blight, we are here to apprehend the Golden Guard, as he is important to The Day Of Unity-" she started but Hunter called out from inside the house "You prolly weren't supposed to say that Kik-" it sounded as though a hand had covered his mouth. Kikimora continued as if she hadn't heard, but her eye was twitching slightly now "We know you are not fond of him, so if you could just hand him over here, we can take our leave" Amity looked over the bushes, there weren't many scouts there maybe just 3 or 4, obviously they weren't expecting anyone to put up a fight. Amity got into a fighting stance and lit her hands with purple fire again "Hunter is part of the family now, I'm not letting him leave this area" she growled menacingly As much as I find him annoying...He's part of the family now .

Hunter's POV

"You probably weren't supposed to say that Kik-" Hunter's sentence got cut off my a hand covering his mouth "Sssshhhhhhh" Luz said bringing a finger to her mouth. Hunter crossed his arms, forgetting that he was propped up on his arms and fell backwards, hitting his head "ow ow ow" he said quietly propping himself back up on his hands. Hunter zoned out for a bit, until he heard "Hunter is a part of the family now, I'm not letting him leave this area" and he choked on air looking in surprise at Amity out of the window, she's preparing to fight Kikimora and the scouts...for me..?  Hunter thought still coughing dryly. Luz handed him some water and he drunk it "She's probably going to- you should -help her..." Hunter stuttered out still shocked at Amity's reaction to Kiki's demands. "Nah, i think she has it covered" Luz said pointing and Hunter looked away from Luz and back out the window, Amity was absolutely destroying them. Hunter stared wide-eyed at the battle, a few minutes later Amity walked back inside and Hunter painfully got up and hugged her, Amity seemed surprised by his reaction, and if he was being honest, so was Hunter "Thankyou" he muttered "Maybe I can learn to trust you"

Abrupt ending I know, I think I might change it later, but for now...that's the finale. I hope you enjoyed 'Trust Issues'. Let me know what you think I should write next!
