Trust Issues - Hunter/Golden Guard

Back where we started - Chapter 14

I am aware that in the cannon series everyone now knows what Goldie looks like under his mask, but for the purpose of this not very thought out story line...they don't oki :3 ?thank you, love you guys. Enjoy the chapter <3

Hunter's POV

"If anyone sees a boy with...Blonde hair, red eyes, a big scar on his right cheek and a nick in his left ear, please alert your principle the Emperor would like to speak with him" Hunter froze and slowly turned to face Luz "I have three things to say here" he said holding his fingers up "1. Pretty sure my eyes are magenta  2. Your fault  3. I. am. leaving. Right now. and you. are coming"  Luz blinked, "...ok...?" Hunter started walking outside but people began pointing at him and he starting running, this attracted attention and within seconds there were coven scouts blocking the exits. Hunter looked around and groaned inwardly as the scouts start to walk towards him "Dammit" he wasn't going to give up that easily though. He didn't have magic but he did have around 15 years of combat training, unfortunately for him so did some of the coven scouts. Hunter managed to pin a few people to the ground and knock them out, he used L'il Rascal to teleport around, after a few seconds Luz joined the fight, he couldn't see what Luz was doing but he knew they didn't really have a chance here. After less than a minute of fighting, Amity ran into the room and Hunter glared at her, she promised him that she wouldn't give him away. Maybe I can't trust these people after all... He thought, Amity seemed to be trying to tell him something and he stopped fighting for a split second to look at her properly but unfortunately for Hunter a scout (maybe it was Steve...you'll never know >:) ) took that split second and punched him behind his left ear, hard. Hunter felt his head fall on the floor before he blacked out completely. ((A/N Fun fact! When you hit someone hard enough behind their left ear it'll knock them out a lot easier than if you just hit them in the head anywhere else. Try just pressing behind your ear, if you get the right spot it'll hurt, be carful though :3 I hope I don't regret teaching you guys this =0))

Amity's POV

Amity ran into the room and saw that her small slip up had caused a...big problem to say the least. Hunter saw her enter and glared at her So he knows about my slip up, but he probably thinks I just told them. I have to tell him it was an accident!  she thought. Amity tried to signal to him what she was trying to say so he paused or a split second and looked at her, but then Amity saw a scout running over to Hunter and she tried to tell him, but it was too late the scout hit him on the side of his head. Amity didn't like Hunter, but she didn't like watching anyone get hurt. She watched as Luz tried to get Hunter back, and even if Amity had helped it wouldn't have done anything. Luz stopped fighting back at one point and Amity walked over to stand next to her and they watched the scout as they picked Hunter up, swung him over their shoulder and took him away with them.

((A/N *insert suspense blackout here*))

Hunter's POV

Hunter groaned, pulling himself into a sitting position and rubbing his head. He looked around, he was back in his room in the castle, he sighed lying back down and covering his face with his hands I am in  so much trouble now . Hunter got up again and walked over to the door, it was locked Of course it is, It'll stay locked until Uncle is ready to give me my punishment . Hunter sat down on his bed and L'il Rascal flew out of his hair "Oh hey, I guess we can't trust anyone, huh Bird" ((A/N Don't read that sentence too many times, it'll sound weirder and weirder, also I recommend listening to 'The Golden Guard // AMV // No Friends' here, I wrote this whole book up till here listening to Alec Benjamin and No Friends)) "You tell them anything, trust them with anything and they go tell everyone" Hunter said his voice cracking as a tear rolled down his face "I thought I might've found some people who I could trust...but I guess not" he whispered the last part. Just then a knock sounded from the door, Hunter wiped his eyes quickly and cleared his throat "Um-Y-yes?" his voice cracked slightly, a slightly high pitched smug voice responded "Emperor Belos wishes to see you in the throne room" Hunter groaned inaudibly "Tell him I'll be right there, Kiki"

*10 minutes later*

Hunter walked down the halls of the castle again, he had changed into his golden guard attire, and currently had very sweaty palms under his gloves. He had told L'il Rascal to stay outside of the castle till he got back. Hunter got to the throne room door, he took a deep breath and knocked on the door "Who is it" his Uncle demanded more than asked ((A/N I have said this before...can you guess where?)) "It's me, Emperor Belos" Hunter replied and opened the door walking in and kneeling in front of Belos "So, I hear you were living with The Owl Lady and The Human-" Hunter interrupted him "They kidnapped me Uncl-" "Do not interrupt me" Emperor Belos said his arm morphing into a spike and scraping slowly across Hunter's chest, Hunter bit his tongue letting out a muffled cry. "Do you understand that you can't trust anyone else?" The Emperor said his arm going back to normal, Hunter looked down at the floor "Yes, I do Emperor Belos" Emperor Belos sat back down on his throne "Good" for a couple of naïve seconds Hunter thought that maybe he wouldn't get punished? But then he said it "A scout told me that you were using a palisman" Hunter's skin paled, even more than it already had from blood loss, and he stuttered out "Uncle-I-I-He was helping me-" but he didn't get to finish because Emperor Belos shot a big red blast right at Hunter's chest, he cried out in pain and hunched forward clutching his chest as he felt something roll down his face, then an electrifying shot was fired at Hunter and it reopened many of his mostly healed wounds including the one from the frying pan on the side of his head. Hunter clutched the side of his head with one hand and his chest with the other, I really can't trust anyone  he thought and just before he lost consciousness he heard a loud BANG .

Aha hey there! Future Indigo here 😎just edited some things when I realised that...scars... don't... reopen? Like wth were you thinking past Indigo? XD

SO! I changed it to 'healing wounds' 

Other than that I just edited a few small thingss like grammar and spelling mistakes (Lmk if I missed anything!)
