Reluctant Student - Chapter 13

Luz's POV

Hunter was walking next to Luz with his arms crossed and an annoyed expression on his face, "Oh c'mon it won't be that bad" Luz said stopping and turning to face him, Hunter stopped too but just swivelled his head to look at Luz as if he didn't really care "Yes. It will." he said and continued walking. Luz sighed and ran to catch up with him "This is going to be a long day" and Hunter called out to her from up the path in the woods, not looking back at her "Finally, something we agree on." 

*15 minutes later*

Hunter's POV

Hunter sighed, Luz had found Willow and Amity on their way to school, so now Hunter was stuck walking to a place he didn't want to go to with a person he didn't want to see. He didn't mind Willow because she at least wasn't mean to him, but Amity just hated his guts, even now Hunter could feel Amity glaring daggers at the back of his head instead of talking with Luz. Hunter sighed again and turned around finally snapping "Blight! Stop staring at me and go talk to your f*cking girlfriend you idiot!" he then turned back around and pushed past Luz storming off towards the front of the school. 

Amity's POV

Amity was glaring daggers into the back of Hunter's head, because he seemed to be following her everywhere, when he turned around abruptly and shouted at her "Blight! Stop staring at me and go talk to your f*cking girlfriend you idiot!" before he turned back around and walked very quickly past Luz pushing her as he did. Amity scoffed and started a spell circle directed at Hunter, but Luz put a hand on Amity's wrist "Amity, just leave him be for now". By this time they were right outside the school, they saw Hunter walk in and then cross his arms over his chest and walk backwards out "Not going in there" Amity heard him say. 

Hunter's POV

Hunter took one step into the school and crossed his arms and walked back out with his arms crossed "Not going in there" he said quietly "Why not?" a voice said next to him making him jump, he looked next to him and saw Edric standing there "That's why" Hunter said pointing at all the people inside, the majority of them were looking at him lots of them had a small blush on their cheeks. "Its fine Goldie" Edric said patting Hunter's back, Hunter crossed his arms again and turned to look at Edric "They just like you" Edric said reassuring him, Hunter looked unimpressed "I can see that. Now how do I make them go away?" Edric shrugged "Not acknowledge their existence?"  Hunter turned back to the door with a confused expression on his face "I was already going to do that" Edric looked at Hunter and then at Emira next to him "Introvert much?" Hunter flinched upon seeing Emira next to him and Edric and Emira both laughed.

*at lunch*

"see? It isn't that bad!" Luz said nudging Hunter "Yes, it is" he answered trying to avoid Luz's elbow and failing, Luz sighed as they sat down and the table that Amity, Willow and Gus were at "Well, Amity has something she wants to tell you" Hunter scoffed and crossed his arms, Amity sighed glancing at Luz before sighing again and turning to Hunter "I'm sorry, for not trusting you and I promise that I won't tell anyone that you're the Golden Guard" Hunter looked at Amity a flash of slight surprise crossing his face before he sighed and mumbled something that sounded like "Apology accepted". After that there was an awkward silence between Amity and Hunter, a minute or so passed and a random girl walked up to their table wearing something that was definitely not the school uniform and leaned on the table next to where Hunter was sitting, Hunter turned his head to look at the girl raising an eyebrow. "Heyy so like what's you're name? You're really hot" she said leaning closer to Hunter, he leaned back and shifted in his seat uncomfortably "Uh-I'm Hunter..." the girl leaned closer to Hunter and he moved backwards "That's a really hot name, wanna go on a date with me?" the girl said Hunter moved further away from her "Uh-no-not really-I'm-uh-I'm going to go..." he got up from his seat and walked very quickly away. Throughout the day Hunter had numerous encounters like this and so he decided to not move from Luz's side as they seemed to approach him less when he was with other people, however there was still those people who were absolutely shameless. At the end of the day there was an announcement made by from the principle's office, Hunter recognised Steve's voice "If anyone sees a boy with...Blonde hair, red eyes, a big scar on his right cheek and a nick in his left ear, please alert your principle the Emperor would like to speak with him" 

A/N

To be honest I only ended the chapter there for suspense, I am writing the next chapter as we speak (Well I will either be writing it, have written it or eating dinner) I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Have a great day/evening! Byyyyeeeeeeeee
