The group pulled up to the Redfield Lighthouse after a serious conversation about his father being missing. The four friends felt really sorry for John B, due to his dad vanishing from the face of the Earth. Almost being a year, there had to be some explanation to what happened to him. It was just that they didn't have as much hope as the brunette boy did. They worried about him, but they all knew that he wasn't giving up when it comes to Big John.

They all climbed out of the van, looking directly towards the lighthouse above them. Willow let out a deep breath, still feeling uneasy about what they were all getting themselves into. She knew that whatever they did to try and figure out everything that was happening, those two men were bound to follow their trails. Glancing over to see John B turning to look at the four of them, she gave him a sympathetic smile. If John B wanted to dig deeper into this whole thing involving his dad, she was behind him every step of the way.

"Here's what's gonna happen.", He started, looking directly towards JJ as he spoke, "You're gonna post up and look out for bogeys, okay?"

"Wait... why me?", JJ asked in confusion.

"Because you're not coming.", Pope answered him first.

"Why?", JJ asked in frustration now.

"Look, JJ... there are independent and dependent variables.", Pope began, glancing at Willow as she stepped away from the two of them. One thing that was not going to happen was her being dragged into the middle of it. "You're an independent variable. We don't know what you'll do."

"Shut up! Just shut up!", JJ shouted, trying to get Pope to stop rambling on about stuff that he didn't want to hear about.

"Listen to me for a second.", John B stated, looking between the two other boys while Willow kept her eyes focused on the lighthouse. Kie, on the other hand, glanced between the three boys and Willow. She noticed how distressed the girl had been lately and it worried her because she didn't even know what was going on with her. She also took notice in how close the two blondes had gotten within the last few days and something about it didn't add up, so she was determined to get to the bottom of it; just not at the moment, of course. "Pope, you stand look out with JJ. Okay? And Willow- where'd she go?"

"Bullshit.", She spoke, grabbing all the attention from her friends. "Dude, if the three of us stay, we're gonna be sitting ducks out here."

"Willow, you're not going. You're not- you don't have the- just stay put.", John B stammered, trying to find the right words without hurting her feelings. She picked up on what he was implying, so she just rolled her eyes and walked away. "Lo, come on."

"No, no.", She called out, making her way to sit down against the tree near the van. "Go ahead. We're losing daylight."

John B let out a deep breath, looking back at the two boys. "Look after her, got it? And don't do anything stupid. If we split up, we meet back at JJ's house."
