JJ stood outside in the pouring rain, hoodie over his head with his hands stuffed into his pockets. It was the same night that Willow had left the group to be with kooks. His eyes were red and puffy, sniffling here and there as he stood there staring at the waves wash up on the shore. In his right hand there was a silver bee necklace with a yellow gem in place of the bee's abdomen. His fingers fiddled with it as he felt a pain in his chest; heartbreak.

He had bought the necklace with the money he was supposed to give his dad for the television he broke in an argument between them. When he didn't give his dad the money, there was an even bigger argument and it got physical. It usually occurred very often, but to JJ it was worth it this time because it was the day they had became friends eight years ago. To JJ, Willow was like that fresh breath of air when coming to the surface of the ocean water after being sucked in through the waves. As the waves knock you around while under the surface you're left thinking that it's your time, but then you get that feeling to try one last time to swim up and you make it.

Seeing her tonight was supposed to be special, but instead it's like he didn't even know who she was anymore. She didn't want his help, so he wouldn't give it. She didn't want his company, so he wouldn't burden her with his presence. She didn't want to talk, so he wouldn't say a word. He felt like she was dead to him, but somewhere deep down he knew she was what was keeping him from going insane.

"We're back in the G game.", Willow closed her eyes, taking a hit of the joint JJ had rolled minutes before. After the group had all gotten back together after Midsummers, John B had told them about Tanny Hill and Denmark Tanny. He had explained that they were back on the right track and then told them that Sarah had helped him find the archives. Kiara didn't take it well and Willow felt bad for her. She seemed serious when it came to her disliking for Sarah Cameron.

Now they had been sitting in the van, waiting for John B to get back from talking with Sarah. It still had Kiara on edge, thinking that Sarah was going to try and ruin everything. She snatched the joint out of Willow's hands, making the blonde girl scoff before Kiara took a hit. Once she blew out the smoke, she handed it back to Willow. "Sorry, Lo. I just- I needed that right now."

"Kie, it's gonna be okay.", Willow responded, stubbing out the joint before placing it into a plastic bag. She handed it over to JJ, which he obliged and took it from her. "Sarah won't be part of this for too much longer, I'm sure of it. It'll be like nothing ever happened tomorrow."

"Yeah, right.", Kiara scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest as she leaned her head back. She felt Willow lay her head on her shoulder, making her crack a smile. "Thanks, Willow."

"Oh, I'm just tired.", Willow yawned, closing her eyes before feeling Kiara rest her cheek against the top of her head. "Remind me to turn you down when you ask me to go to Midsummers next year."

"If I gotta go to that hell-hole, you gotta go with me.", Kiara laughed, lifting her head back up before Willow did the same with a smile on her face.

Willow glanced down to see JJ staring, bringing her smile to widen. "What?"
