32:Get to know him

(Trigger warning-talk of self harm.)

I woke up to Theo cuddled into my back. I turn to face him and admire him while he's sleeping. "Y/N I can feel you staring" He says with his eyes still closed.

"Sorry you are just really pretty when you sleep." I say running my fingers through his hair. He opens his eyes and smiles at me.

"I should probably go back to my dorm. I need to talk to everyone. I'm gonna leave everything in here and come back later to get it." I say to him standing up. His shirt went to my knees so I didn't have to put anything under it. I stand up and Theo sits up and watches me walk to his side of the bed. I kiss him on the head quickly before walking out after grabbing my phone.

I walk out of his dorm and apparate to the door of my dorm. I open the door and walk in. Everyone was sitting except for Jake who was pacing back and forth. When I walk in everyone turns to me and Jake stops pacing.

"Where the hell have you been, haven't you been getting our calls and texts?" Jake asks

"I have been getting both your calls and texts but I needed some time to calm down." I say trying to keep this civilized.

"You needed to calm down? We just saw you with the son of the dark lord and you were kissing him. You should not have been there with him."

"Jake, I want you to listen and listen closely. That boy's name is Matheo and you will address him as that or not at all. And secondly you just jumped to conclusions because of his last name. You know what Aidan would say if he were here. He would say to give him a chance and get to know him"

"BUT HES NOT HERE HE'S NOT FUCKING HERE Y/N AND HE HASNT BEEN HERE SO YOU NEED TO STOP USING HIM AS AN EXCUSE FOR BEING RECKLESS!!" Jake shouts at me. I walked past him and sat on the bed as tears pricked my eyes. He has never yelled at me like this before.

"You know what Jake. I know that he's not here. I have thought about that fact every day since he fucking died. But that will not change the way I view this situation. I want you to sit down and listen to me." I say calmly. Jake just sighs and sits on the ground.

"Matheo is not who you think he is." I say

"Really then who is he?"

"He is actually an amazing person. You know whenever I talk to him he asks about you. All of you" I say motioning to everyone in the room who was silent not knowing what to do.

"How did this all even start? How did you come to be around him?" he asks

"Well it started with detention"

"Detention really."

"Yes, now shut up and listen. We had to go detention because we were fighting and I broke his nose and jaw. We had detention and had to clean the potions room. After a while I got irritated that he wasn't helping so I screamed at him. He came over to me and pinned my hands above my head and kissed me. After that we fought much more often."

"After a while I was sitting on the Astronomy tower and we made a deal. The deal was I would kiss him and stuff while we were alone. I know it makes no sense but I needed my secrets to stay secret. About a week into the summer you were asleep in my bed and he showed up into my room. We hung out on the roof and actually talked."

"That day on the beach I went missing. He took me shopping and to get food. And then one night a couple of weeks ago we were talking and he asked me about yall. He asked me what yall like to do and why yall were so overprotective of me. I explained it to him. And he told me he's never had anyone like that before."
