18: lunch by the lake

(trigger warning-drinking)

Its been two weeks since that talk with Riddle on the roof. I can't stop thinking about the fact that we went through that whole conversation with out insulting each other. It was kinda weird if im honest.

I get pulled out of my thoughts when Jake said "Princess get out of those pajamas i have a suprise for you get ready." quikly before he walked out to who knows where.

I fucking hate suprises and he knows that if he wasn't one of my best friends i would so not go.

I got up and got dressed into something comfortable that I could get dirty because if I know Jake we will be getting dirty.(not that way you nasty's) I walk downstairs and see Jake standing there and he has a blindfold Oh hell fucking no not this bullshit.

"No No No No you know better than that why would you even try?" I asked

" You are wearing it with no arguments," he replied.

"I swear to god if i end up in a guy strip club im so killing you" I say as I walk over letting him put the blindfold on me. He ties it gently and then warns me that we would be apparating to the place. After he warns me I feel like I'm being squeezed into a small tube...aparating.

We get to the place and he pushes me forward slowly so i dont trip. I get to the place and he slowly takes the blindfold off replacing it with his hands. "You ready don't freak out on me okay" he says

" whatever just move your hands im inhaling your cologne i cant breath" I say just to get him to move his hands. He nudges me lightly with his leg and I see we are at a lake with a small picnic set up in front of me. "You did this for me?" I scream and turn around jumping on top of him hugging him.

"Yeah I thought I should do one more thing with just us two since we will be with the group the rest of the summer after the Quidditch cup thingy." he says laughing bringing me to the blanket. I sit down on the soft blanket and Jake follows.

He started pulling things out of the basket. He pulls out sandwiches,strawberries,sodas,vodka,and a few snacks to go with it. I look at him and raise my eyebrows while picking up the alcohol.

"What a guy can't hook up his bestie with some fun before he has to share with six others if we count the twins." he asks with a hand on his heart making a playful offended face. I laugh at this and shove his arm playfully.

"Yes you can I mean this is great thank you bubs" I say eating a strawberry.

"I'm glad you like it anyway. Can the twins stay with us after the world cup? We would have so much more fun if it was all eight of us since Dalton, Riley and Jess aren't coming. Also, is it so funny the way Lily acts around them?" he asks

"I don't know if they will be able to stay I should probably text them real quick also don't tell the others but instead of all of us staying at Lizzie's house I rented a beach for the rest of the summer and there is a big ass cabin on it so yeah let me text them real quick." I respond before he nods and I pull out my phone.

So you know me and the group
Are all going to the Quidditch World Cup

Fred:
AAAANNNNDDDD!!!!

Georgie:
Yeah, is this going somewhere?

Me:
Yes its going somewhere After that the whole gang minus Dalton,Riley And Jess are going to be staying together for the rest Of the summer and they want to know if yall want to go

Fred:
We'll ask mom.

Me:
Okay

Georgie:
So wyd rn

Me:
I'm at a picnic with Jake so I gotta go but
You should come crash it I'll send the location Love you assholes
Tell me when your mom answers

I put up my phone and look at Jake scarfing down sandwiches. "What are you doing?" I ask through my laughter.

"I'm eating anyway, what did they say?" he asked impatiently.

"They said they have to ask their mom." i tell him

"Bet hopefully they can come" he says as i start to eat.

Le time skip

After we ate we drank the whole bottle of Vodka. We didn't get too drunk so my parents wouldn't notice but we were tipsy. I stood up to stretch my legs and guess I didn't need the clothes so I could get dirty. Right after i thought that I felt Jake grab me from behind "What are you doing put me down." He laughs and starts walking toward the lake. "Jake, I'm serious , you better put me down, don't you even think about throwing-" before I could finish i felt him throw me and I hit the water.

I come up and shriek at the cold water. I look up and glare at Jake seeing him take his clothes off leaving him unjustly wearing his boxers before he jumps in splashing me. "You could have just asked me and I would have swam with you now my clothes are all wet." I say when he gets closer to me and I splash him in the face.

He laughs "well that would have been less fun now wouldn't it" he says spitting out water. I walk to the shore and ring out my shirt. "Wait you are getting out look i'm sorry come swim with me" he says quickly.

"I'm gonna swim with you, it's just not comfortable to swim in clothes" I say as I strip down to just my underwear and jump back in. I swim out to him and push his head under water.

He comes up gasping for air and laughs. At that moment I hear the pop of someone apparating and before I could see who it was I got a huge splash of water in my face from someone jumping in the lake. More like two people. When I can see again I see my favorite twins. "BOO!" they say at the same time.

Jake is laughing hysterically from my glare at them for splashing me. " You are so going to pay for that" I say slowly swimming towards the three of them who are laughing. I'm also the only one who can't touch since I'm shorter.

"Oh no" they all say in sink and try to get away from me. I get to them before they can. I pull George under the water and splash Jake in the face. Fred smiles innocently thinking I was going to let him go so easily. I jump on his back and push his head under water as well.

When they come back up we all laugh.

We swim and play around for hours just enjoying each other's company.
