34:Second Task

I woke up to the sun shining through my curtains and remembered what had happened yesterday. My family accepted the boy that I have been with for almost a year and they found out about my deepest secret. I stand up and head to the bathroom. I look in the mirror and see the mess I am.

I am still wearing Theo's shirt and my face was stained with tears. I laugh at my appearance and turn the shower on. Warm but not as hot as I normally would. Today is the day of the second task and I have to meet the gang there since they stayed in the twins room because they thought i needed some space.

I strip off my clothes and get in the shower. I feel the warm water against my skin and sigh. This feels so nice and it was well needed. I was just standing under the water for a couple of minutes letting it soak into my skin when I heard the bathroom door open. At first I thought it was Lizzie or one of the other girls so I didn't mind. After a moment of silence I hear. "You mind if I join you my shower is broken," The voice surprised me since it was none other than Matheo Riddle.

"How is it broken?" I say through a laugh.

"Well I had a couple of shots last night after we all went our separate ways and I went to get in the shower but fell and the shower head came off." I laughed thinking he was joking but Theo is not the type to make jokes.

I sigh "Alright come on." I hear him suck in a sharp breath through his teeth as he starts to take his clothes off. After a second the door to my shower opened to reveal my boyfriend. He gets in and wraps his hands around my waist but as he does he winces in pain. I turn around and see a huge bruise on his side. "You got hurt when you fell?"

"Yeah but I'm fine Y/N" He says leaning against the shower wall. I walk closer to him and look him in the eyes.

"Calm" And just like that my power activated and he leaned back, sighing. I stare at him and look closely at him, his relaxed features and everything. This is the most relaxed I've ever seen him. About thirty seconds later I shift and water gets in my eyes causing me to blink. He immediately tenses up.

"Did you just use your mood control thing on me?" He asks

"Kinda but you looked so comfortab;e when I did so you can't get mad at me." I inch closer and put my hand on his bruise. He winces in pain and tries to back away but the wall stops him. My eyes go blue as I summon a little bit of the water from the shower to my palm and cool it to a really low temperature. He sighs in complete relief and places his hand on top of mine.

"That feels amazing," He whispers.

"I know but you should really get that healed before the second task which starts soon so we need to hurry up" I say I leave my hand for a little longer then i pull my hand away as my eyes turn back to their normal color. I wash my hair and bathe as he does the same since I use mens products. After we finish we get out and I check the time and see we have twenty minutes to get to the black lake. I look over and see Theo standing there with no shirt on. I stare for a minute admiring his muscles and beautiful body.

"Take a picture and it will last longer." He says smugly. I pull up the camera on my phone and take a picture catching him completely off guard. He laughs at me and puts a hoodie on.

"Well i'm going to go get this bruise healed see you later." He says but before he walks out he gives me a quick kiss on the lips then walks out. I swear that boy is going to be the death of me.
