"What do we have here?"
"I'm telling you, Alvin! I have nothing to do with the Berkians," you said once more, trying to convince him that you weren't there because 'Hiccup told you'.
"Then why are you here?" he asked, exasperated by your behavior.
You looked out of the cell you were sitting in, leaning your back on the wall. "As I said, I'm here to rescue the dragons."
"But that's something Hiccup would do!" he exclaimed.
You sighed. "Okay, I admit it. We have the same intentions. But I can assure you, old man. He does not. Know. I'm. Here." Or alive for that matter.
"Well," he rubbed his chin in thought. "How were you planning to get the dragons out?"
"By opening the doors with keys?" you raised an eyebrow. "It's not that hard."
"And after that? The dragons would've eaten you alive."
You only furrowed your brows at him. He grinned in triumph, having his answer.
"Here's the deal, girl. You give me what I want - train the dragons for me - and I let you live," he offered with a grin.
You still just glared at him.
He left with an evil chuckle, leaving you to the cave-like cell.

"Fine," you spat. "I'll train the dragons for you."

As you were led back to the arena, you were deep in your thoughts while staring at your feet.
I just have to get them to fight as an unit and get out of here.
The arena's gate fell shut behind you.
"It's sunset right now! By dawn, I want every dragon trained and ready for riding!" Alvin announced before turning around and walking away. You sighed, walking over to the keys again.
First, you walked over to the Scauldron's cage.
"Hey," you greeted quietly. "I'm a friend of your friend - Heatwave."
"I don't know a Heatwave," he growled.
"Oh, don't worry. That's what I named your friend. That friend you were with on the day that you were taken," you assured. "I can understand what you're saying by the way."
"How can I trust you?" he growled again.
"I want to get you out of here and back into the water to be free, I promise," you said. "You see, I don't even have any weapons on me."
He studied you for a second before coming closer to the door. "Alright. I trust you."
"Promise?" you asked, lifting your hand through the cage.
"My friend, uhh, Heatwave, told me about those. I promise," he said before putting his nose against your palm. You chuckled, opening the cage's door. "Now let's get everyone out of here. Should be easy enough with your help."
***
Getting the Nadder and the Monstrous Nightmare to promise their trust on you was easy enough so you were in front of the last cage even before the moon had hit its peak.
"What are you?" you asked quietly.
It didn't open its mouth.
"It's okay," you assured. "I just want to know you won't attack me, I'll get you out of here and you never have to see me again."
It still just stared at you.
You smiled comfortingly. "I know you're scared. And by your size I would say you're still a hatchling, maybe around five years old. Would you like a name, little one?"
"Where's my mom?" it squeaked.
Your heart broke into pieces when you heard those words. "I can be your new mom. Just tell me what you are and if you are a boy or girl."
"I- I'm a Lycanwing. I'm a girl," she said, coming closer to the door.
"Cool. I'll name you Leaf. Now let's 'leaf' this island. I promise, you'll be fine," you said quietly, a smile in your voice. She put her nose against your hand as soon as you put your hand through the bars.
As you unlocked the cage, the whistling of a Night Fury was heard and a familiar indigo blue dragon blasted through the ceiling, taking a defensive position around you.
"Don't go off like that! You could've gotten hurt!" she scolded.
You chuckled nervously, hearing all the Vikings on the island come to motion. "I missed you too, Glacier. But now we have to get out of here. Dalfon, you lead everyone back to Lonebreeze, I'll distract the people."
"Got it. Everyone, come on!" he flew out, all the dragons after him. You saw Heatwave's friend dive to unite with him and mounted Glacier.
"Night Fury!" someone yelled.
"It's Hiccup!" another added.
You furrowed your brows, rising up into the air - you were surrounded.
"What do you think you're doing?" Alvin growled.
"Getting out of here. Glacier!"
She blasted the ground, blinding everyone in the arena.
"Good girl," you patted her neck while flying away. "Thanks for coming. Couldn't have gotten out of there without you."
