I am so sorry, this took so long. I'll try to update every few days.

Sophie had been going to Foxfire for two weeks now, and the first major event was coming up. The Moon Festival, a celebration of the moon and stars. Everyone gathers at Foxfire, it had delicious treats, games, and more. To wrap up the night, a fireworks and laser show, would be showcased to celebrate the heavens.

Each class has a project to complete for the festival, but the students decide which project to be part of. Sophie's math class was to be assigned to vendors as cashiers. Her ancient history class was of the many classes in charge of lighting. Linguistics were in charge of writing the programs in different languages for international families. Home ec was in charge of the buffet. Gym, was for the heavy lifting, and Art was in charge of making specialized fireworks.

Sophie was definitely not going to home ec or gym. She couldn't be with Dex or Biana because, Dex was needed in his engineering class for a special surprise, and Biana was needed in her fashion class for banner design and sewing. Sophie saw Fitz doing the heavy lifting with the Gym class. Sophie guessed that Mrs Galvin and Ms. Cadence could do a week without seeing Sophie. So, Sophie's choice was between Art and Ancient History. Sophie decided to go with Art because she enjoyed it more.

The Fireworks station was set up in the cafeteria. When Sophie walked over, Ms. Livvy was doing a demonstration on how to make the fireworks. Ms. Livvy demonstrated, on how much of the chemicals went into the fireworks, and which chemicals to pour in and when. Sophie sat at one of the tables, and poured the ingredients in as Ms. Livvy did.

"Hey Foster," Keefe slid over to her, bumping into her.

She accidentally poured in a little too much of a chemical. Sophie groaned and looked at Keefe who was smirking.

"You should watch where your going," Keefe remarked, and Sophie rolled her eyes.

Sophie poured another chemical into the bowl, "So what are you doing here?"

"I love Ms. Livvy's Art class, also I saw you and I was bored," Keefe confessed.

"So, how has school been?" Sophie asked, looking closely at a powder she shook in the bowl.

"Well, I have detention until the end of the month," Keefe smiled, looking at the chemicals, "Would you mind if I borrowed this?"

Sophie looked at him, and saw he was holding the main ingredient for the fireworks. She grabbed it from him and said, "No!"

She stirred the bowl, and it started to fizz and crackle.

"Keefe stand back," Sophie said, taking a large step backwards.

"What, why?" Keefe asked, stepping backwards with her.

The bowl shot up in the air, and exploded in a firework blast. It was silver and icy blue. Sophie loved the color icy blue.

"Okay, Sophie, you added too much of the main ingredient into the bowl, and the stirring, jarred the chemicals, which caused the reaction," Ms. Livvy explained.

Sophie gave a look of daggers at Keefe.

"You know, your angry face is adorable," Keefe smiled

Both of them managed to create about 10 fireworks each by the time school was over.

"I like the Moon Festival because everyday is a half day for the entire week, and preparation is always fun," Keefe said, as they walked to their lockers.

Keefe's locker was actually just across from her.

"So, when did you meet Fitz?" Sophie asked.

"We met when we were in 7th grade, I was 11, he was 12," Keefe explained.
