Is it his fifth beer or his fourth? Sixth maybe?

Jungkook isn't entirely sure as he's been watching you on and off for the past twenty minutes or so. You're waltzing around, mingling like a pro with his colleagues – anyone from the 20-year-old male and female interns to the older employees who've known you since you were just a tiny toddler. The marketing intern, Jaemin, who's under Jungkook's supervision, is currently the center of your attention, making you laugh so much that your eyes wrinkle in the corners and your head is thrown back. Jungkook scoffs before taking a sip of his beer. Jaemin can't possibly be that hilarious, he thinks to himself, Jungkook definitely hasn't experienced it himself during all of their meetings at the office.

Over the rim of his cup of beer, Jungkook catches you glancing in his direction. That same smirk from the other day is still playing upon your lips, a glint in your eyes as you excuse yourself from Jaemin. Jungkook watches in silence, eyes roaming your tight, black dress-clad body as you make your way to him. He stays leaning against the bar countertop as you come to a stop in front of him, smirking at him.

Jungkook is not sure when you turned into a full-grown woman with perky breasts and an ass that is to die for, but as you stand here in front of him with a small, vicious smirk playing on your lips, he's pretty sure you're not that 15-year-old girl who had a massive crush on him anymore. No, you're a sexy and seductive, young woman with your eyes set on him and him only, playing with him and his mind because it's embarrassingly obvious what kind of thoughts that are roaming his brain right now. Jungkook might not know but you've caught him looking at you several times throughout the party.

"Ever plan on talking to me?" You tease, smiling innocently as you turn to ask the bartender for a lemon water. Jungkook's ears perk up at your drink order, his conscience immediately pointing out that you're still not old enough to order an alcoholic drink. Another perfect reason for why he shouldn't be thinking the things he is thinking as you look at him again, your soft lips wrapping around the straw to take a sip of the refreshment.

Jungkook sighs, eyes falling to look at the liquid in his cup as he swirls it around.

"I'm not sure if I should," he admits, glancing back up at you for a split second. Confidence radiates off you as you smile at him. It would be difficult to not notice it, but Jungkook doesn't mind it. Actually, he finds it attractive as hell. There's just something about a woman who knows her worth and how beautiful she is, what effect she has on the people around her. It's just not ideal that it's you he finds attractive when it could've been someone closer to his own age instead of someone who's ten years younger. He'd usually never even think about himself with someone so much younger than himself.

"And why's that?"

He chuckles, no humor in it. "You know why, ___," he shoots back.

You shrug mindlessly, taking another sip of lemon water. Your eyes stay locked with his as he looks at you, his thoughts running at full speed as he thinks about all the possible consequences if he caved and let you win him over just like that. He'd be in big trouble if his boss found out that he had flirted back. Jungkook can't even begin to imagine what would happen – he'd probably lose his job as the head of marketing which he worked so hard for ever since becoming a marketing intern at the company almost ten years ago. He'd also lose all the perks of being your father's right hand man; that includes all the connections and contacts in other companies, good salary, perfect working hours and a good friend. Yes, your father was one of Jungkook's good friends despite the age difference of nearly twenty years, but that didn't matter because Jungkook always got along with your father due to his high level of ambition and work ethic. So yeah, throwing all of that out of the window just to cave in to your teasing would just be plain stupid.
