AFTER THE ATTACK, Reyna had made her way back to the apartment with Sersi, Sprite, and Ikaris. She currently lays down on the crouch with her head resting against a pillow, along with her blonde hair being sprawled out behind the arm of the couch. Her hands are fiddling with a rubik's cube that Sprite had thrown over to her after losing interest in to, finding herself looking at a dagger instead. The TV has been switched on where the news plays in the background and informs everyone of what's happened today; it's right now that Reyna realises the earthquake wasn't just an odd occurrence in London, but everywhere.

The fight from earlier this evening is still repeatedly playing in Reyna's mind, practically consuming her thoughts at this point. The fact that a Deviant is back after being extinct for centuries can only mean that there are many more out there, just waiting to come across someone of an interest to kill. But the Deviant had also healed itself when wounded, so could that mean there are multiple other Deviants like that out there? Or did something happen for the creature to miraculously gain the ability to heal? Whatever the reasoning is, Reyna doesn't like it a single bit.

"That Deviant healed itself." Reyna states with a loud sigh. "It's never been able to do that before."

"Yeah, and unlike before, it was coming after us instead of humans." Sersi adds.

"I came to check on you because of the earthquake. That deviant is news to me." Ikaris informs while he pulls on a jacket for warmth.

"Something's happening to Earth. It can't be just a coincidence." Sersi tells them.

"Something's definitely happening." Reyna agrees as she sits up on the couch now. "We need to figure out what's going on and put a stop to this before we lose control and it gets stronger."

"You think that it can get stronger?" Sersi questions.

"At this point, we can't predict anything that might happen next." Reyna replies. "None of us knew the Deviants would come back to Earth, we were just waiting for the signal to go back home. But then a Deviant showed up and can suddenly heal itself."

"We need to find the others." Ikaris states.

"I haven't seen some of them for centuries." Sersi admits while releasing a small sigh. "Reyna, have you seen any of them?"

"Not recently." Reyna admits, shaking her head. "I last saw Thena and Gilgamesh years ago just to see how they were doing. I briefly visited Makkari too."

"Is Thena okay?" Sprite asks out of curiosity. "I haven't seen her in awhile, so..."

"When I last saw her, yeah. But you never know what could happen." Reyna tells her before noticing her face fall. "Look, Gilgamesh has been taking good care of her this whole time. She's okay."

Sprite nods. "That's good."

"Other than that, I haven't really seen the others for centuries either." Reyna continues as her eyes rest on the brunette once again.

"Well, I doubt much has changed." Ikaris replies.

Sersi doesn't reply and only drops her gaze down to the floor beneath them. Ikaris pulls his lips together onto a thin line before walking forwards so that he's now standing closer to where Sersi remains stood in the doorway. Reyna knows how hurt the brunette is by Ikaris, especially because she and Sprite had been the ones to listen to the whole story being told and had watched as Sersi tried to hold it together. When Dane came into the picture, it was like a breath of fresh air for Sersi and she looked genuinely happy.

"I'm sorry I hurt you, Sersi." Ikaris apologises. "But we need to stick together during this. Once I know that you're safe, I'll leave you alone."

"Let's go to Ajak first." Sersi tells him, ignoring the fact he's just apologised. "She'll know what to do."

Reyna glances over at where Sprite now stands next to the window, noticing how she's stopped messing around with the dagger and has placed it back down on the table. Droplets of rainwater are seen sliding against the smooth glass as the rain hits the window. Sprite is stood beside it and watching as they slide down, also watching as some lampposts switch on to create light within the darkness.

"You hear that, Sprite, Reyna?" Ikaris questions as a small smile splits across his face. "Family reunion."

"It's about time." Sprite replies before turning to face the three. "I actually haven't seen Ajak in awhile. I miss her, to be honest."

"Me too." Reyna adds with a sigh. "Her wood cabin is very homely. It's always so warm and welcoming."

"That's because you like the fact it's surrounded by nature and nobody's around for miles." Sprite states.

"The nature over there is kind of dead though, but I do prefer it to the city." Reyna admits.

"I'm sure you could make it... not dead." Sprite tells her, unsure of if she worded it correctly.

Reyna shrugs. "I guess I could."

"Remind me why you chose to live with us in the city instead of getting your own place in the countryside or something?" Sersi questions.

"I don't want to be lonely. Like, after everyone left, I was on my own for awhile and needed someone to be there as a nice company. You and Sprite have been that for me, and it's been so good." Reyna explains.

"Well, I'm glad you stayed with us." Sersi replies as a smile spreads across her face. "I've liked having your company around too."

"I guess I could say the same too." Sprite adds while playfully rolling her eyes, sighing. "I'm kidding. I've really like you actually sticking around with us."

Reyna smiles. "You're welcome for the drink earlier, by the way."
