WITH PHASTOS' TECHNOLOGY, the perfect plan was created that would hopefully stop the birth of Tiamut from destroying Earth and all life on it. All of them are going to be connected by the creation of a Uni-Mind, which will be used through the golden brackets wrapped around the outside of their suits. As well as that, it was decided that Thena would stay onboard of the Domo so that she act as a distraction against Ikaris because she is willing to fight — she's the Goddess of War, after all. This then means that the rest of the Eternals (excluding Phastos) will stay with Druig as they make their way to the island.
Ahead, a volcano can be seen beginning to erupt due to the fact that an emergence is threatening to take place. Dark smoke rises off the top of the volcano as the lava proceeds to bubble from within, preparing to erupt at any given second now. Reyna simply casts a glance over to where Druig stands beside her, eyes already locking onto his blue ones. The blonde nods at him to reassure his worries, which he only returns to show that he's listening. The act is silent, but it's still enough for them to seek comfort in one another.
Druig twists the golden bracelet in order to activate it so that it's now prepared to be used, which it also makes the rest of theirs to be activated too. A glow of gold begins to glow around Reyna's body as a feeling of a force gently pulls her up into the air so that she's now hovering above the ground. The same happens to Sersi and Makkari too, rising up into the air next to Reyna. Then, Druig's body is soon encased in the same golden glow before his body lifts off of the hard ground while his eyes beam yellow. Above, a golden sphere is seen connecting them all to each other.
With the use of Druig's mind-control, the volcano is seen to slowly stop releasing the dark smoke since it is being put into a dormant stage once again to stop it from erupting. However, while this is happening, the connection that is shared between the Eternals is suddenly interrupted. The glow around Reyna's body fades away as she's slowly lowered back down onto the floor. This is then when Reyna catches sight of Druig lying on the hard ground ahead while groans of pain slip past his lips. Ikaris is standing nearby after he had landed from where he was in the sky.
"I should've done this five centuries ago." Ikaris states.
Ikaris outstretches a hand out where he then allows his fingers to wrap around Druig's neck, tightening his grip with the aim to restrict the airflow travelling to his lungs. Druig attempts to choke for air while he claws at Ikaris' hands. But the two suddenly the air as Ikaris hauls the brunet up from where he had laid on the hard ground. Reyna then focuses on trying to control the air so that she's able to help Druig in this fight, knowing that she can try intervene with Ikaris' path as his mode of transport is flying. But it's risky trying to control the air because it's something that always surrounds them, and she could risk harming Druig in the process because he's with Ikaris.
