THE FOUR HAD remained stood there together in silence as they revelled in the fact that they survived and managed to save the entirety of humanity. Soon enough, Sersi appears as she makes her way over to where the four Eternals are located upon the sandy shore. This makes Reyna and Makkari run over to the brunette where they both engulf her into a tight hug, thankful to see that she's okay. Sersi smiles at the warmth of this action while proceeding to wrap her arms around the both of them so that she's able to return the loving hug.
"How?" Phastos asks, voice laced in amazement at the brunette. "How did you do it, Sersi?"
"When I touched Tiamut's palm, I felt an energy surge into me. Tiamut joined our Uni-Mind." Sersi explains.
"Ever since we found out about the emergence, I've always wondered how we survived the destruction of other planets that we were on." Phastos tells them. "By being connected to the Celestial as it emerged."
"We became one. Even Ikaris and Sprite." Makkari states with a weak smile. "All because of Tiamut."
An ache strikes through the Reyna's heart at the fact that Druig's name wasn't mentioned. It's almost as if her heart is acting as though it's a dartboard, whilst Druig's death is the dart that strikes the bullseye. It had been a topic that Reyna was trying her hardest to avoid because she knows how much this is going to take a toll on her, hence when she was trying to distract herself with taking out the rage on Ikaris. Even when Reyna had stood in silence with them all, she was distracted by the fact that Sersi had actually managed to stop the birth of a Celestial.
Dark clouds roll in from above once again as Reyna unknowingly begins to use the weather to reflect the emotions that she's currently going through. Heavy rain starts to pour down onto the whole island and soaks into the sand, just like it had done so when she was trying to drown Ikaris under the waters surface. Reyna's legs suddenly give way and cause her knees to crash against the ground beneath her. As soon as she hits the ground, a loud crack of thunder ripples through the dark sky above before it's then lit up by a flash of lightning. Blonde hair begins to whip in front of her face as the wind picks up.
The world around Reyna begins to spin as she finds herself now rapidly losing control, unable to contain her powers like she had done before. Sobs slip past Reyna's trembling lips while salty tears stream down her cold cheeks and blur her vision. Body violently shakes as her chest heaves up and down, gasping for air and struggling to do so because of the amount of sobs that she's letting out. Then, unable to take the feeling anymore, Reyna let's out a deafening scream that echoes around like a banshee. Reyna screams in hopes that it will relieve her of the emotions that are swirling inside of her stomach. But nothing works because it can't bring back Druig from the dead.
