FIRE SPREADS THROUGHOUT the village at an alarming speed, setting each of the houses alight and burning everything inside. Screams and shouts can be heard echoing loudly through the tense air as the humans resort to fighting against one another to create war and conflict. On top of all that, deviants still roam the land and are only adding to the large amount of bloodshed that has already been created. Everything is being destroyed, and not a single one of the humans are doing anything to stop it.
The fighters of the Eternals had been sent out on a mission to kill the Deviants threatening to intervene with human life. However, this time, Ajak chose to specifically instruct Reyna not to join them, knowing that Reyna would want to use her powers to prevent the humans from further destroying them — if she was allowed to use her water abilities to put out the fires, she would. This only meant that Reyna was put on the sidelines for now, joining the thinkers in the middle of the forest.
Druig stands beside the blonde with one of his hands gripped in hers. He had noticed that she had began to shake, desperately wanting to sprint forwards and save humans from themselves. Druig had been quick to realise that even though Reyna is surrounded by nature, it's still not enough to control the urge since she's been standing around watching as the trees are burnt down and habitats are destroyed. Reyna hasn't ever been around to experience something like this, but she's still choosing to listen to Ajak's instructions and not do anything that will act against that.
"Rey." Druig whispers, causing her brown eyes to meet his blue ones in an instance. "Just focus on me, alright? You're okay."
Footsteps are soon heard edging closer towards the group, causing them all to turn around to see Thena and Makkari now standing there beside one another. Both of their gazes are quick to falls onto Ajak as the brown haired woman turns towards them. Neither of them pay much attention to the fact they had pulled the rest of the Eternals out of their own thoughts and conversations, choosing to patiently wait and hear what will happen next.
"Where are the others?" Ajak asks.
"We had to split up." Makkari replies.
"There were more deviants than you said." Thena informs.
"I'm sure that was a lot of fun for you." Reyna comments.
