AFTER THENA'S SUDDEN attack towards each one of the Eternals, Gilgamesh has managed to make her fall unconscious with his enhanced strength. All of them returned back to the temple where Thena is now laying on a stone table in front of them, candles placed at each corners to light the place up. They are all standing around Thena's body as Ajak explains to them what mahd wy'ry is and how it effects Eternals; it's something that has been mentioned many times before, but none of them thought it was the truth.

"I thought mahd wy'ry was a myth." Sersi states as she speaks up for everyone else. "No one really talks about it, nor has it been seen."

"'Cause there's no cure for it." Phastos informs.

A gasp of air suddenly echoes through the air, which instantly grabs each of their attention as they quickly stop the conversation they were going to have. Thena is now awake as she continues to rest upon the table, eyes opened and returned to their usual colour while she scans the room in confusion. Ajak is the first one to walk forwards and stand by Thena's side, knowing that she (as a leader) will need to explain it all.

"What happened?" Thena asks.

"You attacked all of us." Ajak replies. "You wounded Sersi, and you nearly killed Reyna. She had to save Phastos from getting hurt too."

"I don't remember." Thena states with panic laced in her voice as she sits up. "Why don't I remember this happening?"

"You have mahd wy'ry." Ajak informs. "Your mind is fracturing under the weight of your memories. All I can do is erase them so that you can start over."

Thena simply stares at the woman in disbelief while tears now begin to prickle in her eyes. Her head then shakes slightly in disapproval of having to lose all of the memories that she's created over the many years she's been on Earth for. However, Ajak doesn't seem to pay any attention to this, only continuing to talk.

"I will have to inform Arishem and take you back to the ship where we will have the technology to help you." Ajak continues.

"But she won't be Thena anymore." Makkari signs.
