REYNA'S HANDS GRAZE against the tall grass as she walks through the field and assess the process of the crops growth. A few of the settlers can be seen crouched down as they tend to some of the crops and ensure that it's in neat rows and have enough water to grow. Reyna continues to keep walking forwards to the point where she reaches a field beyond; this field is empty of crops and it's just grass with flowers blooming within it, whilst tall trees line the edge.
Light footsteps are heard trailing behind Reyna as she walks into the empty field. She turns around to see Druig following closely behind her with two long wooden fighting sticks so that they are able to train together. Ajak agreed that it would be best for Reyna to train for today to ensure the best in battle, making sure to specify that the blonde should try to include more hand-on techniques. Since Druig is a thinker and doesn't tend to involved with the fights against Deviants, he volunteered to be a training partner.
"Did you choose this spot to actually train or just to admire nature?" Druig asks.
"Both." Reyna replies while shrugging. "Anyway, I'm not going to use my powers on you, so you don't have to worry about being in a field."
"I wasn't worried." Druig assures with a smirk. "I know that you don't like using your powers on me."
"On any of us." Reyna corrects. "Don't get all big headed thinking that I only restrict my abilities when it comes to you."
"I don't believe you." Druig whispers as he takes a step closer to her. "I know I'm your favourite, Rey."
"Believe that all you want." Reyna tells him with a grin, staring up into his blue eyes. "I'm not here to boost your ego, Druig."
The brunet throws one of the fighting sticks over to Reyna, which she manages to catch with ease. Druig begins to take a few steps backwards as he continues to wear the same smirk on his face. Reyna rolls her eyes at him before she takes a couple takes back too, making sure that there's a fair distance between the both of them. The pair ready themselves for training as they hold onto the wooden sticks tightly as their eyes remain locked onto one another.
Reyna makes the first strike. She lunges forwards and jabs the stick into Druig's side, but he manages to dodge before aiming to throw an attack towards her too. Reyna uses her own stick to push against his one and prevent herself from getting hit. She applies more force as she takes a step forward in an attempt to shove him back. Once Reyna succeeds in doing so, she pushes the stick forwards once again to try and see if she could catch him off guard.
