Chapter 4

*(Y/n)'s pov*

The next day I walked into class and sat at my usual seat. I got my things ready for class and was about to put my head on my desk when someone approached me. I looked towards them expecting it to be Kyouko but instead it was Tooru who looked dead inside. "Morning (L/n)." He said to me. "Morning Ishikawa. Geez you look like your life flashed before your eyes." I said and he sighed as he sat down near me "It felt like it. After all I'm sure you're aware Hori rejected me." He said as he planted his head against his desk. I stayed quiet as I knew he was right and I didn't know what to say. "Sorry man. I know you liked her." I replied and he nodded and he sighed. "But hey you're still young and there's several girls at this school and in the area. I'm sure you'll find one you like more then her sooner or later." I told him and he nodded. "Yeah I guess you're right man. Hey thanks." He said and I smiled and nodded. "No problem." I replied smiling. A few minutes later class started and after a long series of classes and gym it was time to go home. As I was getting my belongings though my phone dinged notifying me I had a text and I looked at it but it wasn't a text but an email so I opened it.

'Mr. (L/n) this is James Hawkins with Longcaster Merchandising. We need to discuss with you about the new merch releasing soon. If you can contact us ASAP we will be very appreciative.

James Hawkins, Merchandise Dealer'

Hmmm they should be open! I should go home and contact them. I thought to myself as I glanced up at the ceiling. "Hey (Y/n) you coming over today?" Kyouko asked me and I looked at her. "I'm sorry Kyouko but I just found out that I have an important matter to take care of." I said smiling softly and she frowned slightly and nods. "Oh okay. Souta will be sad you can't come over." She said and I nod. "Yeah. Since tomorrow is the weekend I'll come over tomorrow afternoon." I said smiling and she smiled and nodded. "Okay! Sounds great!" She replied and started to leave. "See you (Y/n)." She said and I smiled and waved at her. "See you Kyouko." I said back and watched her leave. I smiled and then headed to my house where I contacted the people creating the Merch for me. It had my logo design of a (Logo/Design) and then were other merch of memorable moments from my past videos. After about an hour or more I finished the conversation with the merch store and they asked me if I wanted some Merch for my friends and family. I then looked at the ceiling and smiled. I should get them some merch. I said as I thought about getting merch for Souta, Kyouko, and Tooru. Maybe I should even get some for Yuki and Iura too. I thought to myself as I thought about two of my classmates who I have also started befriending besides Tooru and Kyouko. Yuki is a good friend of Kyouko's and Iura is a friend of Tooru's who has green hair and green eyes. He tends to be annoying sometimes but he's a good guy and someone I can see as a good friend. Yuki is actually a really sweet and kind girl too. Sometimes to kind for her own good. After that I went to eat dinner with my Aunt, Uncle, and cousin before going to bed.

The next day was Saturday so I was heading to Kyouko's house. When I arrived I knocked on the door and a woman I haven't seen before opened the door. "Oh uh hello. I'm looking for Kyouko? Is she home?" I asked and the woman smiled and let me in. "Oh I sent her out to do some errands for me before I head back to work." She told me. Oh now I get it. She's their mom. Now that I think about it she does look a lot like her daughter. I thought to myself as I looked at her. She has light brown hair and she looks similar to Kyouko. "Kyouko and Souta have told me a lot about you that you always come over and help out after school." She said smiling and I smiled back. "Well they are my friends so of course I'm going to help out as much as I can!" I replied smiling and she smiled and nodded. "Oh where are my manners. I am Yuriko Hori. I'm Kyouko's and Souta's Mother." She said smiling ar me and I smiled back. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm (Y/n) (L/n)." I replied and she nodded smiling. "It's good to meet you as well. Well if you'll excuse me I need to get to work. Thank you for all the help!" She replied and I nod. "You're welcome." I replied and she smiled and left. Souta and I then went to the living room where he asked me to show him my channel again so I brought up my YouTube channel and showed it to him. "Whoa! This is so cool big bro!" He said and I smiled. "Thank you!" I said and then he noticed my channel name. "(Channel/Name)? Why's it called that?" He asked me and I smiled. "It's just what I wanted to call my channel at the time." I explained. Soon Kyouko arrived and walked into the room. "I'm home." She said smiling then got a puzzled look on her face as she saw me and Souta but not her mother. "Hey where did mom go?" She asked and I smiled. "She already left for work. Sorry." I said and Kyouko turned her back to me and I could tell she was a little pissed.

*Meanwhile in Kyouko's Mind*

I can't believe this! She sent me out to do some chores just to get some one on one time with (Y/n)! Kyouko thought to herself as she looked very annoyed with her mother's actions but she then just sighed and went to start putting the groceries away she had bought.
