Chapter 5

*Kyouko's pov*

I had arrived at school early as I thought I had a matter to take care of but I had the date wrong so I was currently sitting in the cafeteria sipping on some juice. I was seated next to a row of windows and looking out the window when someone sat down across from me. I looked at them to see that it was a girl with pink hair tied into twin tails on either side of her head and she has pink eyes. I recognized her as Remi Ayasaki. She's a friend of my childhood friend Kakeru Sengoku. "Hi Hori. Mind if Remi joins you?" She asked and I nod. "I don't mind." I said and she nodded. "So you and that guy (L/n) sure are close. Are you guys dating?" She asked me and I looked at her surprised. "Uh no! We're just friends." I said and she nodded. "Oh well then is it okay if Remi makes him mine?" Remi said and I looked at her. "Go ahead. I don't care." I said and she smiled and nodded but as I said this my mind started racing. Wait! What is this! Why am I thinking that I don't want anyone to have (Y/n)?  I thought to myself not really listening to Remi anymore. "You can't have him!" I blurted out and she looked at me surprised. "What? You just said he wasn't yours though!" She replied and I shook my head. "You can't have him! He's mine! You got that!" I yelled standing up from my chair and staring down at her. She looked up at me speechless and in surprise but before she could say anything two students walked into the cafeteria chatting. My face flushed red and I grabbed my things. "I got to go!" I said and rushed off leaving Remi there speechless.

*No One's pov*

Remi was talking to her best friend Sakura Kouno. They've been friends for a long time and Remi was telling her about her interaction with Kyouko in the cafeteria that morning. "She's so scary! I was only joking about it but she went and yelled at Remi for it." Remi said as she rested her head on the window sill. "I know Remi but you due tend to take your jokes a bit far sometimes." Sakura replied and Remi groaned and nodded. However unknown to the two there was someone who over heard their conversation.

*(Y/n)'s pov*

I was at home doing some work on my gaming computer. Mainly just cleaning it and straightening up the room I stream out of when my phone dinged and I took it out to see a text from Tooru. I raised an eyebrow as I opened it to read. 

'Hey (L/n), can I come over? I need to talk to you about something! 

I immediately texted him back and gave him my address and shortly after he arrived. I met him at the front door and opened it for him. "Yo! What's up Ishikawa?" I asked him and he smiled and walked in. "Thanks for letting me come over. You're parents house is really big!" He said and I nod. "No problem and it's not my parents house. I live with my Aunt and Uncle." I explained as I led him to my streaming room. As we headed there we passed the kitchen where Karen was getting a drink. "You having friends over! That's a rare occurrence." She said smiling to me. "He's a friend from school who needed to talk to me." I said simply and she nodded as we walked into the room I use for streaming. "So who was that cute girl in your kitchen?" He asked and I looked at him. "That was my cousin. She's a college student." I explained and he nodded. I then grabbed my old gaming chair and pulled it over and sat down in it and motioned for him to sit in the one at my desk. He does and looked at me as he sat down. "You weren't kidding about being a streamer." He said and I nodded. "So what did you need to talk to me about Tooru." I asked him and he let out a sigh and looked at the ground. "I think Hori likes you." He told me and I raised an eyebrow. "What makes you say that?" I asked him and he sighed and he tells me about the conversation he overheard at school today. My face blushed slightly and I nodded once he finished. "I see." I said simply as I leaned back into my chair and looked at the ceiling. "Look dude I know you like her too so you should really tell her." Tooru said and I looked at him. "But don't you still have a crush on her?" I asked and he nodded with a sad smile. "Yeah but you're my friend and I know you also have feelings for her so I just feel like I have to tell you." He explained and I nodded. 

"I see. You're a great friend to have Tooru." I told him and he smiled and nodded. "So are you going to tell her how you feel?" He asked me and I rubbed my neck. "I don't know man. I mean her mom seems nice but I don't know about her dad. Hopefully things can workout if I do. I'm just worried." I said and he flicked me on the forehead. "Yo dumbass don't go worrying about it! If that happens you'll never tell her the truth!" He said to me as I rubbed my head. "You're right. Alright I'll tell her the next chance I get." I replied and he smiled and nods. "Great! Now what kind of games you got?" He said looking at my gaming systems and I smiled and moved my chair over to my desk. "Depends on the genre!" I replied. After that me and Tooru spent some hours playing video games together before he went home since we have school tomorrow.
