Chapter 11

*(Y/n)'s pov*

It was now Saturday and I was currently walking to Kyouko's house to pick up her and her brother as I had told her I could let her play one of the Horror games I have on Steam or on one of my consoles. I arrived at her house and knocked on the door and Kyousuke opened it. "Hey (Y/n)! Good to see you're finally here! Why don't you come inside and we can chat?" He said smiling and I smiled slightly. "Hey Kyousuke. Sorry but I'm just here to pick up Kyouko!" I replied as she arrived at the door. "He can't stay Kyousuke! We're going somewhere!" Kyouko said and he smiled. "Then I'll come with you guys too!" He said and she glared at him. "Don't you dare! If you follow us I won't make dinner for you!" She said and Kyousuke frowned and sighed. "Aw come on!" He replied but she ignored him and walked away grabbing my arm and we started to walk away. "See you Kyousuke!" I said and he waved bye before walking back into the house. I then led Kyouko to my house. "So Souta didn't want to come?" I asked her and she smiled. "He wanted to go play with his friend Yuna." She replied and I smiled. "Yuna? Is she that red haired girl I seen him talking to at his school?" I asked and she smiled and nodded. "Yeah. That's her. She's a real sweet girl!" Kyouko replied and I smiled and nodded. We held hands as I led her to my house and it wasn't long until we reached her house and I led her inside. "I'm back!" I said smiling and my aunt looked at us. "Welcome back. You must be Kyouko! It's so good to finally meet you!" My aunt Asuna said and Kyouko smiled and nodded. "Nice to meet you too and thank you for having me over!" Kyouko replied and I smiled. "We'll be in my streaming room if you need us." I told Asuna and she nodded. "I'll bring you two something to drink and some snacks in a bit. By the way Kyouko are you staying over for dinner?" Asuna said and I nodded as the two of us went into the room I stream in. 

We walk in and she looks around and sees my collection of figures and other models I had set up in a cabinet along the wall behind my desk. "I thought you didn't collect figures." She said and I nod. "I don't. Those were gifts from some of my streaming buddies who bought them for me on my birthday. They knew what animes and characters I liked so they got them for me. The models are vehicles and characters from video games I like." I explained and pointed to one of a man wearing green armor and a golden visor on top of a strange 4 tracked vehicle. "Like that one.It's the Player character from the FPS game Halo. His name is Master Chief and he's standing on a Scorpion tank." I explained and she nodded. I then pointed to two model tanks in the case. "Those are actually real vehicles though. That's an M4A3E8 Sherman tank and the one next to it is a Tiger 1 E Ausf. Variant tank." I explained and she just nodded. I could tell she didn't really get it and then  her eyes wondered to a boomerang sitting in the cabinet. "Why's that in there?" She asked me and I looked at it and smiled softly. "It is one of the gifts my uncle got me for my birthday. Him and my Aunt were working on a project in Australia at one point and he sent me that for my birthday!" I explained and she smiled and nodded as she understood. After all I barely got gifts growing up so all the presents I got from my aunt and uncle were very important to me. After she finished looking at the cabinet we headed over to my desk where I got her to sit in the gaming chair and I pulled over my older one and sat down. I then started up my PS4 and loaded up Outlast. I picked up the controller and handed it to her after starting the game and starting a new game.

I walked her through how the controls worked and how to move around and play the game. She eventually made it to the asylum and to the first jump scare which surprised me because it actually caught her off guard but didn't get her to bad however when the big guy who walks around the asylum grabbed her and threw her out the window she jumped in her seat and then the cutscene played and she just sat there quietly. I looked at her after it finished. "You okay Kyouko?" I asked her and then she looked at me with stars in her eyes. "Horror games are amazing!?" She said smiling at me and I smiled and chuckled softly. "I knew you'd enjoy them Kyouko." I replied and she nodded and she continued to play and made it to the point where she returned to the security chamber when dinner was ready so she stopped playing and the two of us headed to dinner. I could tell though Kyouko was definitely hooked on horror games now. I think I just turned my girlfriend into a gamer! I thought to myself as we sat down at the dinner table. My Aunt, Uncle, and Karen all chatted with Kyouko to get to know her better as we ate dinner. After dinner I walked Kyouko home. As we were walking she smiled at me. "I had a lot of fun today!" She said smiling and I nodded. "I'm glad to hear that Kyouko!" I replied as I held her hand and she smiled and nodded. We continued chatting with each other and enjoying each other's company until we reached her house. After that I said good bye to her returned home.
