~Esther's P.O.V.~
Esther smiled at the memories.
Her mind then shifted to her reunion with Cale and his group.
Esther was at the plaza in the capital of Roan, Huiss. The kingdom just won the war against the Indomitable Alliance, hence they were celebrating and holding a festival and a banquet in honor of all those who participated in the war.
Alexander has been asking her to record the banquet saying he wants to see Cale Henituse since he wasn't allowed to leave. He was quite a fan of his, and Esther couldn't help but notice. Was it because Cale's his father that he likes him by instinct? Or because of her influence? It may be both, Esther doesn't know.
Since it may cause problems if she were to intrude on the banquet unannounced, she settled on recording the banquet through the hologram displayed at the plaza.
The banquet was interesting if she were to give her opinion. The Crown Prince Alver's declaration was a pleasant surprise. The hilarious reactions to the said declaration were a bonus.
Once the banquet finished and the bombs dropped by Cale and Alver caused the surrounding people around her into chaos, she prepared to leave only to be stopped by a familiar butler who was smiling benignly at her. Esther still feels a chill whenever she remembers that old man's smile.

Esther was about to turn to an alley to teleport when suddenly a voice called out behind her causing her to freeze.
"My, what a coincidence to meet you here, My Lady."
Esther turned her body towards the direction of the voice at the absurdity of his words. There stood Cale's butler with his arms behind his back.
'What coincidence? Aren't you always at Cale's side?? Why are you here?!?'
Esther composed herself before greeting the man. She maintained a graceful expression despite her inner turmoil.
"...Hello there, Ron. Fancy meeting you here, it has been a while."
She didn't know it was possible but Ron's smile became more benign and she had a bad feeling about what's to come next.
"Yes, it indeed has been a while. Are you perhaps here to see the Young Master, My Lady?"
"About that-"
She wasn't even able to finish her words when a hand was placed on her shoulder.
"Then this way, My Lady. The Young Master would be ecstatic to see you."
Ron continued as he gestured towards a carriage Esther didn't even notice was there.
'This is planned... How did they even know I was here..?'
She was then guided to the palace, where Cale and his crew were currently at. Inside the room are Cale, the children, Choi Han, Ron, Beacrox, Eruhaben, and a hooded figure. All were looking at her. Then the interro-, talk started.
It was the children who first talked to her as they rushed to her the moment she entered the room.
A small black dragon, Raon, was encircling her before draping himself on her shoulder. He then curiously asked as they made eye contact.
"Where have you been, Kind Esther?"
Esther couldn't lie to the innocent child so she answered vaguely.
