Hi, sorry to put this out suddenly. I'm not sure who is going to read this anymore since I've already abandoned this story for quite a while now. My point is:
I'm not going to continue "Empire of Blood and Swords" anymore. Or more specifically, I'm not going to continue writing "Battlefield", which is the sequel of the first book, "Bright One." This was a story with a basic plot I came up with when I was like, 11. It's full of self-inserts and other stuff/inspirations that I took from movies, novels and games that I enjoyed. For the past 2 years since editing and writing this "series", I've realised just how much I didn't like the direction the story was going, and how much inspiration I've taken from other shows and novels and games. I didn't plan anything out which lead to many rewriting and self-doubts that it just wasn't fun to write anymore.
I'm so so sorry to whoever read or is still reading this. I'm looking forward to writing stories which are more original but has nothing to do with the storyline of this series. Even though I'm not continuing this series/book anymore, I will not unpublish it.
I'm very grateful to all my readers who have read/is still reading what I wrote many many years ago. You helped me grow as a writer and was there by my side for many years as I wrote Empire of Blood and Swords.
