-Cold Anger-He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him. He wavered and I thought he was going to fall, so my hands snaked around his body. I felt him chuckle and unfurled his wings even wider.
"If we fall and I die, I can't help you save your people," I said. "Our lives are too short to be played with."
"Life is like a game, and I always win," he said confidently while his hands held me protectively.
"You can't win in life, you—"
He didn't even let me finish my sentence as he leaned backwards, grabbing me as we fell from the sky. I screamed and he laughed, I was pressed firmly against his body. I felt the warmth of his skin spread through my body. A few feet before we hit the ground he opened his wings and we soared through the air.
I was being carried in a baby position. He wasn't looking at me, instead, he was looking at where he is going. He flapped a few times and we were high above the ground. He flew us as high as the castle and started to take to the direction. Strong wind blew, causing my perfectly braided hair to get tangled. I struggled to brush my hair away from my vision. In the distance, I can see mountains and forests of different types of trees.
"This is the Wolfblood territory," Sans said, looking at the castle and the forest around it. "More like our estate."
"It's beautiful," I said. You're unbelievingly wealthy.
"I can show you around, if you want," he said.
"Sure."
He titled his body into the other direction and flew towards it. Below us were the towns. The rooftops were identical from each other. There were children running around, chasing each other. The townspeople selling their goods, talking or just chilling. Their lives are so simple. They go to the castle for training, come back and become normal citizens. But all of them have the same purpose: to save their people. They're all waiting for the moment when my father attacks, and by then I'll have to be ready.
We flew away from the town and back to the forest again. But this time, I did spot a few houses in the woods, not far from the town.
"The houses," I started. "Why are they away from the town?"
"They want peace, I assume," Seth replied without certainty. "The newer generation live in towns, older Achilleas would normally choose to live away from the crowd."
"Why?"
"They can't stand to be reminded of the past."
I didn't say anything after that. I didn't know what to reply. But I want to know what happened. He sensed that and told me anyway.
