-Prologue-
"Your highness," a maid said and knocked on the door. "Her highness would like to meet you in the Meeting Room."
"Tell her I'll be done in half an hour," Seth replied.
"But your highness, she demands you to meet her now."
Seth groaned. She's always like this. Always demanding, always wanting people to do things her way and at her time. He swear to the Mother that her demands will be the death of him.
"All right, I'll be over in a minute," he replied and the maid left.
Seth stood up from his chair after he was done polishing his sword. Placing the polishing stone and sword gently on the table so that it doesn't scratch, he turned around and headed for the door. His legs were wobbling like a plate of pudding. His hands were sore for polishing the sword for a few hours, but Saoirse calls, and he has to answer.
Walking through the hallways, Seth looked out of the windows. The night air smells humid like it had just rained, but it did not. Kells was building up feelings, she would cry somewhere in the middle of the night. The moon shined brightly like a burning candle, so mesmerizing. But sister calls, no time to be distracted.
He practically ran when he heard Saoirse's voice from downstairs: "Where is he?"
He saw the door to the Meeting Room and was relieved. Walking into the room, both his older sisters are now sitting next to a hooded person. Accompanied by Alex and his younger brother, Samtron, Seth felt less worried that the hooded person.
Both his older sisters are twins. The oldest—Saoirse, and the younger twin—Sapphire. The only way to tell them apart was the eyes. Saoirse with her emerald green, and Sapphire with her lapis blue. Saoirse and Sapphire are two years older than him, and he's never been so glad that they're not centuries apart.
"You are late," Saoirse states, her gaze never leaving him.
"Polishing my sword," Seth replied calmly and sat down next to Samtron. Samtron looked over, his blue eyes were grey with fatigue.
Seated next to Sapphire was Alex.
Alex is not a regular Achillea, but one of the Imiril-Eldars. Imiril-Eldars are Achilleas from the Era of Darkness—the age where war broke between the empire, few thousand years ago. But that is a story for another time.
Saoirse cleared her throat, demanding attention.
"Rusałka had a vision," Saoirse started. "A strong female lives in the human world. Confirmed by a few Achillea residents living there. Her powers only appeared recently, and getting stronger."
"They came back to the Imperial City to inform us," Alex continued. "Furthermore proving Rusałka's vision was correct."
"In Auckland, New Zealand," Saoirse said and showed us a map, pointing at one of the human continents on the map. Obviously stolen.
"We are assigned by the Imperial Highness to bring this girl back. If she stays there any longer, she may cause danger to the humans." Sapphire added.
"Well, let her," Seth said in anger. "The humans have done enough to anger Mother Nature. Can't the humans see how mad Mother Nature is? She sent the animals away; the Sea Mother sends storms and tsunamis; the Air Goddess sends tornadoes and—"
"No creature deserve to perish," Alex cuts off, his voice wasn't sharp, but soft. "even the very worst. Mother Nature is fair to all."
Seth kept his mouth shut. Saoirse touched his hand and shook her head. He jerked his hand away from her, snarling at her face.
