The Ninja were training Lloyd in combat while Wu was helping Misty with meditating and balance as she was standing one foot on a post with her eyes closed, both hands holding teacups.

Cole had stacked some wooden planks on a table and said to Lloyd, "You may be small but you're strong.

Lloyd closed his eyes and chopped the boards, they slept in half and so did the table under them and so did the ground, the ninjas were sent tumbling backward, and Misty was toppled from her perch and face planted Wu caught the two cups before they shattered on the ground.

"That was the power of the Scythe of Quakes! And you did it without the Golden Weapon." Kai said

"That must be why you have the potential, to be the greatest ninja you can harness all of the elemental powers," Zane said

"Really? Cool." Lloyd said looked at his hands

"With this power, you must be careful. You must control it before it controls you." Wu said and then turned to Misty who stood up from the ground glaring at Lloyd, and said, "Isn't that right Misty?"

"Yes, Sensei," Misty muttered

"Misty can't control the elemental powers.. so how can she?" Lloyd began to ask

"Misty has been given the power to create... to make something out of nothing but an idea and, she can destroy as well...take something and make it nothing." Wu explained, and then added and looked to Misty and said, " together you will be a powerful team, but if you see each other as rivals nothing good can come of that,"

Just the Darreth walked in behind him two students were caring piles of boards and he said, "Not bad for a kid but instead of 10 boards, how about 50? Stack them, boys."

Wu just sighed and shook his head disapprovingly, and Darreth continued and said, "And perhaps if I, Grand Sensei Darreth, can break through them all, you will allow me to join your team and become the brown Ninja!" he said with a flourish and pulled down a brown ninja hood.

Jay burst into laughter and said, "The Brown Ninja? You gotta be joking."

"Sorry, Pal. Clubs already full." Cole said

"Okay, okay. Then maybe this demonstration, of my superhuman strength may persuade you." Darreth said and then called to the two students, "Jeffy, Phil, are we ready?"

"Yes, Grand Sensei Darreth!" Both of the boys said

"This isn't going to be good, and yet I can't bring myself to look away." Misty muttered under her breath

"Observe. I call upon the greatest animal to give me strength, the Dragon. HEE-YAH!" And Darreth Attempted to chop the board in half.

Darreth then let out a blood-curdling scream of pain and started jumping around holding his hand still yelping and screaming.

The Ninja laughed, and Misty made a thin line of black crystal across the boards and then focused and it explode splitting in half.

"Now let's go get lunch," Cole said and they walked out of the dojo, Misty followed and walked out to hear, Jay shout in surprise "Oh! That's our ship!"

Misty looked up and indeed there was the Bounty high up in the air flying through the skyline of Ninjago city.

"But Pirates?" Lloyd said in disbelief

"Pirates haven't been around for centuries," Cole reasoned

"Tell that to them!" Misty shouted

"I sense Lord Garmadon is somehow behind this," Zane said
