The Past vs Present 19

Next thing she knew she was landing face-first into a shallow pond.

She felt someone grab her should and yank her up, and heard Jay complain and say, "remind me to pack a helmet next time we time travel."

"Where are we? Cole asked and Misty realized it was him who had pulled her up.

Misty spat water out of her mouth and tried to whip the mud from her face.

"You mean when are we?" Zane said

Kai looked up and saw something and said, "four Weapons. Ha! My parent's shop! Nya and I used to work there. Hey, wait a minute. This is the day Garmadon ordered the Skeletons, to take my sister! We need to warn them!"

"Whoa, whoa. You heard what Sensei said: "We change anything we change everything." Cole said

"Yeah, I was confused by that too," Jay said

"Our world is the result of past events, that have already happened if, for whatever reason, events in our past fail to happen, then the future could radically change," Zane explained

"So what you're saying is, we gotta stop Garmadon from changing anything, but off all times, why did we land here?" Jay asked

"Cause this is where it all started. Today I met Sensei Wu for the first time, and I began my training as a Ninja, Somehow, Garmadon is gonna try to prevent that, but how?" Kai asked

"Ah. If only Sensei were here to guide us." Cole sighed

And then Jay said, "Oh, look there he is! Maybe he can!" Wu was walking up to the Black Smiths shop and a young girl was walking with him.

"We gotta tell him what Garmadon has done," Cole said

"But we can't let, the old Kai and Nya see that we talked to him, or else it will affect the future," Zane said

"Hm. I know exactly what to do." Kai said

"Wait! what about the past me! What if she sees us more importantly me!" Misty hissed

"I doubt she'd be able to recognize even herself, your older now and along with you begin covered in mud I doubt anyone would be able to recognize you, just don't use your powers or they'll realize who you are," Cole said

As Wu left the shop, Kai jumped out and grabbed him covering his mouth, and whispered, "Sensei, we need your help!" Zane grabbed Misty and yanked her to the other side of the shop.

"Whoa, whoa, wait a minute, If we're trying to stop Garmadon from changing anything, wouldn't talking to Sensei and Misty kind of be like altering the past, thus changing our future?" Jay said

"That would be correct. I believe a big, "uh-oh" is in order." Zane said

The younger Misty just stared at the ninja her mouth opening and closing but no words came from it.

"Well, we can't undo what we've already done. Sensei, we really need your help." Kai said

"All five of you... you..." Wu said

"traveled back in time, to warn you of impending doom? Yeah, but we don't have time to explain. Can you help us?" Kai asked

"I don't understand, but I can try," Wu said

The Younger Misty turned to the older version of herself and stuttered, "You... your... Me...but how...are you.. older.."

"Sorry wouldn't want to spoil the surprise, now would I?" Misty said and winked at her past self.

"Any moment now, the skeletons are going to attack, and we think Garmadon may try to hurt me. I mean the past me." Kai said

"Garmadon?" Wu said

"We have to do everything in our power, to protect my past self!" Kai said

And seconds later the skeletons showed up and attacked, Kai's past self just like they had done before,

"Well, can we help or not?" Kai asked

"Don't look at me. I'm wise but not that wise." Wu said

"Technically since the past has already been altered, I don't see why we can't fight a few skeletons, just as long as your former self never sees you," Zane said

"Ha! You made my day, Zane. I missed beating these guys up." Jay said and he whipped out his nunchuck's. and used Spinjitzu on the skeletons that had come up behind them.

"But...but I've already seen you... how much will that change...." Misty's younger self stuttered

Misty bent down to her younger self and said, "I don't think it will change much just do what you'd do... make the choices you'd make...as long as I don't tell you anything about our future I don't think you'd end up doing anything different then I would have."

Just then Samukai disarmed the past Kai and closed in on him with his daggers. "Sensei!" Present Kai shouted.

"I'm on it. Come along Misty!" Wu said and then shouted "Ninja-go!" and used Spinjitzu and knocked into Samukai.

Younger Misty looked back at her older self unsure, but Misty nodded to her and motioned for her to go on ahead, and the younger Misty did and entered the battle as a purple swirling tornado.

"Sensei Wu, your Spinjitzu looks rusty." Samukai taunted

"Nothing like bone to sharpen its edge, Samukai," Wu answered

The Past Kai was struggling to sit up in the armor he had on, Samukai threw the daggers and the water tower came crashing down, but Wu saved Kai using Spinjitzu in the nick of time.

But the skeletons missed Nya and retreated without taking the girl.

The Ninja and Wu and the younger Misty were hiding on the other side of the water tower, and Kai said, "Oh, this isn't good."

"Why we save you and your sister," Wu asked

"No, the Skeletons were supposed to get away with Nya. Ah the only reason you convinced me to become a ninja in the first place, was to get her back." Kai explained

"Oh, I see," wu said

"Sensei no matter what, you need to convince Kai, to go with you and Misty," Zane said

"Why?" Jay asked

"Because if Kai doesn't become a Ninja, the world as we know it won't exist. The five of us will never unite. We'll never train Lloyd to become the Green Ninja, and Nya will never fall head over heels for Jay." Zane said

In the last part, Jay's eyes grew to the size of dinner platters filled with horror and he grabbed Sensei's arm and shook him a lot while shouting, "No matter what, you need to convince him to go with you!"

"Shh...Jay, you begin too loud." present Misty hissed

Jay had been so loud that the past Kai was walking around to check what was making all the noise all the present Ninja jumped behind the water towers other side to hide, and watch, they watched Sensei trying to convince Kai to come with him and Misty.

And Kai agreed but only for his sister.

"Ah, great he's going!" Jay said relived and added we saved the future.

"Not so fast. We still have to make sure he becomes a Ninja in order for everything to get back on track." Zane explained

And they followed Kai, Wu, Nya, and Misty.
