Lloyd woke up to Misty shaking his shoulder, and a concern looked on her face. " Lloyd we need to get your leg wrapped if there's going to be any chance of us getting off this terrible island."

"So I'm guessing a tropical island isn't one of your top three choices for a vacation spot," Lloyd grumbled but he sat up

"We're ninja I don't the word vacation even exist to us," Misty sighed Lloyd actually seem to find this amusing and laughed, but as soon as he tried to get to his feet Misty placed her hand on his chest and forced him to sit back down. "Oh no, you don't, your waiting here until Dr. Julien comes with the bandages."

Lloyd didn't look too happy about this but soon Dr. Julien came over with some bandages, Misty then removed her hand from Lloyd and sat back beside him as Dr. Juilen began to wrap Lloyd's leg.

"Can I still fight?" Lloyd asked

"Hmm, I'm sorry. That leg will take weeks to heal." Dr. Juilen sighed

"We don't have weeks!" Lloyd shouted and shouted when Dr. Juilen moved his leg even a little bit.

Misty then stood up and both she and Dr. Juilen helped Lloyd stand and then helped him to get where the others were which they were near the water's edge staring at the larger dark cloud that was hovering over the mainland.

Misty heard Jay sigh sadly and say "I wonder if I'll ever see Nya again."

Misty's heart twisted into a knot, poor Jay having to see the one you love, evil.

Then she heard Zane say "Perhaps it's best to think of our friends as we remember them in our hearts not as they are now."

But I don't remember my father any other way," Lloyd sighed

"Your father loved you. It was the evil of the Great Devourer that corrupted him," Misako said

"Sensei, I don't understand. The Prophesy said the Green Ninja would defeat the Dark Lord!" and he threw a stone and it skipped on the water's surface, and he turned back and said, "Why didn't we win?"

"I don't know," Wu said sighing in defeat

"Don't know? Don't Know! You're Sensei! You always know you have a long white beard!" Jay shouted

"There must be some message to learn. A lesson. A word of wisdom, just a word? Something?" Kai said desperately.

"For once, I'm afraid there is nothing to learn. Only that evil has won." Wu said gravely

Lloyd then broke the deafening silence that followed and said, "If Sensei doesn't have a lesson, then I do," Lloyd said and then added, "I used to be nothing but trouble," Lloyd then hopped in one foot and continued, "But then I met you guys. You took me in. Showed me the importance of being brave, the importance of being strong, and most importantly begin well."

He tried to place his foot down but quickly picked it back up and hopped back to the group. "When this battle began, when the first Spinjitzu master fought the Overlord and his back was up against the wall, and he knew it was all over, did he quit? No, and he found a way to keep the fight going he passed his elemental powers to us of all people a group of kids, but there must have been a reason he chose us. I'd like to think it's because he knew, we'd never back down, we'd never give up. We've learned the ancient ways of the ninja, and ninja never quit."

"he's right if that means we have to swim the sea to get off this island, then so be it," Kai said and started walking into the water.

"The entire ocean? But I didn't bring my floaties," Jay said

"Well if you've got a better plan," Cole said,

"i don't but he may." Zane said and the falcon swopped by.

"Ooh, the falcon. He must have found something" Julien said

They used Kai's mech to climb the mountain and when they reached the top Zane recognized the place they were.

"You brought us back to the Temple of Light? I don't understand we've already been here." Zane said

Misako was reading the scroll she had and said, "This location I've seen this before. I just never understood it."

They went inside the temple and as soon as they stepped foot inside The crystal heart hanging around Misty's neck started glowing, almost as if realizing it was back home.

Kai then walked over to one of the pillars and cut away a spider web.

"I think I've found something it's just like the map," Kai said and he stuck his elemental blade into the slot on the pillar.

The rest of the ninja did the same, and the ground opened up and a platform rose up and on it was a golden and white mech.

"The fighting suit of the First Spinjitzu Master, He used it when he battled the Overlord," Misako said

"You mean the First Spinjitzu Master sat here, get out of here!" Cole said and climbed and sat inside the suit, "how do you work this thing?" he asked

"Sadly, I think the time has done her in she's only a relic now." Dr. Juilen sighed

"If it worked for the First Spinjitzu Master, perhaps it will work for the next Spinjitzu Master?" Wu said tuning to Lloyd

"It's worth a shot." Lloyd said and then climbed up into the mech, Lloyd then moved one of the controls and said, "Nothing." but just then the suit started glowing brightly, and The Crystal's heart glowed as well.

The mech became operational once more and the ninjas all cheered.

"How does the leg feel now?" Wu asked

The leg of the mech lifted off the ground and fire came from the bottom.

"Stronger," Lloyd said laughing

"Well I know how he is getting to Ninjago, but what about us?" Misako said

Just then they heard a faint roaring in the distance.

"I know that sound it's our dragons!" Jay cherried

"I believe we just found our way off this rock," Wu said happily

Misty then ran out the door and saw Shine coming in with the Ultradragon beside her.

Misty laughed and then ran and jumped off the edge of the mountain only to land on shine's back seconds later.

The other ninja followed suit and Lloyd flew in the mech.

Dragoness roared

"I missed you too Shine," Misty said smiling and then they turned in the direction of Ninjago and flew toward the city they had sworn to protect.
