The Ninjas were back at the Dojo the next day and Lloyd was trying to light up a light bulb using his lightning powers.

"Focus, Lloyd. Control the power inside you, when you feel a surge welling up.... harness it." Jay said

"I understand, I am in control......" Lloyd said and he tried.

"Come on, Lloyd you can do it." Jay cheered but just then the lightbulb shattered.

"Argh! Stupid Lightbulb!" Lloyd shouted and then turned to the other ninja, and said, "You're putting too much pressure on me! Let me have one more try."

Misty looked down into the box of lightbulbs she had and shook her head at Kai.

Kai sighed and said, "Sorry Lloyd, that was the last light bulb."

Lloyd looked at the gourd which was littered with broken lightbulbs.

"Clean up Lloyd. We'll continue training tomorrow." Cole said and handed Lloyd a broom Lloyd took it and started hitting a punching bag with it.

Jay sighed and said, "what am I doing wrong, Sensei Wu?, I can't seem to teach him to control his power"

The broom however came back and had hit Lloyd in the face, and had knocked him over. "you dare defy the Green Ninja!" Lloyd shouted and started punching the bag again.

"Patience Jay. Sometimes the greatest opponent we face is ourselves, and that is especially true of Lloyd. Remember where he came from. He's the son of Lord Garmadon it's going to take time for him to embrace the light." Wu said and then nodded over to where Misty stood, and said, "Misty had a hard time at first with her powers, in the beginning, they were hard to control there were so many holes in the courtyard I lost count, but with some training, she had learned how to harness them and she learned to create weapons and items out of her crystal it just takes time."

Just then Nya opened the door and said, "Hey, guys!" she was dressed up.

"Hey, Nya." all of the ninja said and Nya walked forward and said, "Hey, Jay, wanna come by the auto body shop later?"

"Uh, the auto body shop?" Jay said

"Yeah, I got a part-time job. Thought I could fix the Ultra Sonic Radar in my off time, maybe if you come over, I can show you what I've been working on." Nya said

"Ah, sure! What you got there?" Jay asked Nya had an envelope in her hand and she said, "Oh, um this letter came for Lloyd." she handed the envelope to Wu who looked at it and said, "Hm. It's from Lloyd's old school."

"Darkly School for Bad Boys?" Cole asked coming over

"Formerly bad boys. Since the last time we were there, They've changed to the Darkly School for Great Children." Wu explained

"Wait they've turn good?" Kai said

"Hm. It says here there's going to be a ceremony." Wu said looking at the letter

"I love ceremonies that means there's going to be cake!" Cole said grinning

"Lloyd's change inspired them. Now they've invited Lloyd to give him an honorary degree in excellence." Wu explained

Just then they heard Misty shout, "Lloyd don't-" and they looked over to see Lloyd break the broom over his knee, and then tried to head-butt the punching bag.

The ninja walked over and Kai said, "Are we sure we're talking about the same Lloyd?"

Misty grabbed Lloyd and yanked him away from the punching bag.

"Stop it!" she shouted sounding annoyed "you're wasting your energy on what revenge on a punching bag! Try sparring with an actual opponent?"

"So you then?" Lloyd asked hopefully

"No," Misty said stubbornly before Lloyd and Misty could get into an argument, Wu told them that they and the ninja were to go to Darkly School of Great Children.
