"Is Juliet coming to the show tonight?" Peter asked, returning his drumsticks to their holster as they finished their sound check.

"Yeah...unfortunately, though, that sewer rat boyfriend will most likely be with her too..." Ace replied, his voice laced with disapproval.

At sixteen, Juliet Frehley was definitely a handful...especially after her mother had walked out on both she and Ace whenever Juliet was only five; leaving Ace to juggle being a single father while also pursuing his career in The Hottest Band in the World.

Though not easy, the free-spirited Spaceman had adopted his own techniques in raising a little girl; however, her teenage years were definitely proving challenging...especially when it came to dating.

And being the father of a teenage girl also meant being over-protective along with having a strong dislike for any boy that his daughter brought home; which definitely held true with Juliet's current boyfriend.

"Ahhh...I take that by the tone of your voice that you absolutely adore him?" The laid-back Catman then joked.

"...sure...in fact, if I liked him anymore, I'd probably strangle him..." Ace laughed. "...I tell ya, that boy is nothing but trouble and I know trouble..."

"I think we both have our fair share of knowing that, pal..." Peter laughed. "...you're from The Bronx and I'm from Brooklyn..."

"...yeah and put us together, we definitely know how to party and kick ass!!!" The Spaceman then said, letting out his signature cackle.

"Got that right!!!" Peter then agreed, fist-bumping his best friend.

On a break from touring, KISS were doing a select number of shows in their home state of New York; giving Ace prime opportunity to spend time with his daughter though it also came with the price of having her boyfriend along as well...something he definitely neither approved of nor enjoyed.

"Seriously, though..." Ace then said, gently setting his famous Gibson Les Paul Sunburst guitar on its stand. "...sometimes I wish he would just get the h-"

"Hi, daddy!!!" A sweet and feminine voice laden with the same Bronx accent then said.

"-ell-o, princess!!!" He then said, turning to see his daughter standing by the stage while obviously covering up what he had originally intended to say.

Juliet was definitely the mirror image of her dad; with her mesmerizing dark eyes and smile that matched his perfectly, it wasn't hard to tell she was truly the daughter of The Spaceman.

"Daddy, you remember Draven..." Juliet then acknowledged the teenage boy by her side, her arms wrapped around one of his while holding hands, her fingers laced with his.

"How could I forget...how ya doin', Derwood?" Ace said, eyeing the young boy up and down.

"I'm good, Mr. Frehley" He replied, smiling. "...and it's Draven, sir...or if you'd like, you can call me by my nickname...D-Ray..."

"Funny...I'm actually thinking of quite a few nicknames for you..." Ace added, narrowing his eyes in his daughter's boyfriend's direction.

"...I understand, sir..." Draven then said quietly, taking a few steps back behind Juliet.
